1. World’s Tallest Building
The iconic Burj Khalifa skyscraper zooms up high above the Dubai skyline, reaching a staggering 2720 feet in height. To put it in perspective, the Empire State Building is a rather meagre 1454 feet high in comparison while the Eiffel tower is a piddly 1063 feet. This makes the Burj Khalifa 2 and a half times the size of the Eiffel Tower! You can enjoy spectacular views over Dubai from the top of this incredible skyscraper, as well as high tea on a special viewing deck as the tiny people scurry around below you.
2. World’s Largest Mall
Measuring an incredible 13 million square feet, or the equivalent of 50 football fields, the Dubai Mall holds the record for the largest mall in the world by square footage. More than 750,000 visitors flock through its doors every week, visiting the 1200 shops, 22 cinema screens and 120 restaurants and cafés that make up this incredible complex. There is also an aquarium, 2,000 spectator capacity ice rink and indoor theme park called SEGA republic, with over 150 amusement games.
3. World’s Largest Indoor Snowdome
Yes, you did read that correctly. In the middle of the desert of the United Arab Emirates lies the world’s largest snow park, measuring an astonishing 32,292 feet. Ski Dubai was also the world’s first artificially created indoor mountain range, which is another feather in Dubai’s cap. At the ski park, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding tobogganing, bobsled runs and even an encounter with a flock of penguins! It’s the perfect way to escape the heat of Dubai for the day.
