The two biggest new exhibits feature a sea turtle exhibit with a domed 3-D theatre and an immersive penguin experience that will give people a real taste of the frigid Antarctica.
The turtle exhibit, currently titled ‘turtle trek’, will feature large tanks filled with live sea turtles and manatees; allowing the visitors to get close to the live animals before being treated to the underwater experience in the domed 3-D theater.
The Antarctica experience, titled ‘Antarctica - Empire of the Penguin,’ will be the largest single expansion project ever undertaken at the park. As the name would suggest the attraction will feature plenty of cuddly penguins; you may well need to wrap up warm for it though, as sections of the experience will feature a radical temperature change from Florida’s usual humid atmosphere.
There are also other new exhibits planned at SeaWorld’s other parks, including the well known Discovery Cove.
