Today SeaWorld Parks announced not one but TWO exciting pieces of news for SeaWorld fans to look forward to in 2019. The first is for Aquatica water park, where a brand-new high-octane ride will be opening next year.
The KareKare Curl water slide will be a two-passenger raft ride delivering a high-adrenaline ride experience and a weightless sensation to guests who dare to ride it! This new ride joins the recently added Ray Rush attraction and is set to make Aquatica the place to be for thrill-seeking Orlando water park fans.
As well as this new attraction at Aquatica, SeaWorld have announced 6 colourful, themed rides to open when Sesame Street land opens at SeaWorld Orlando next year. These new attractions include Abby’s Flower Tower, a ride which spins you up a high as you take in views of Sesame Street at SeaWorld, and Slimey’s Slider, an exhilarating slide ride through Oscar’s treasured compost collection.
Also on the new line-up are Super Grover’s Box Car Derby – a steel roller coaster suitable for all the family and Cookie Drop – Cookie Monster’s very own attractions! This family-friendly drop ride will have everyone laughing.
Finally we have Elmo’s Choo Choo Train and Big Bird’s Twirl ‘n’ Whirl. Elmo’s Choo Choo Train does not need much more explaining than that but Big Bird’s Twirl ‘n’ Whirl is a classic tea cups attractions, perfect for little ones.
2019 is shaping up to be a big year for the SeaWorld Parks with these 7 new attractions plus the recently announced Tigris at Busch Gardens. We can’t wait to see what else 2019 has it store!
