Starting on the 1st October, SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is an extra special free event which is included in the cost of your normal park admission. You can expect elaborate costumes, whimsical Halloween-inspired decorations and plenty of fun activities for all the family.
Aside from the park characters being dressed up, children visiting the park can also put on their best Halloween costumes too! Children in Halloween fancy dress will be invited to trick or treat for some spooky sweets and goodies at the Trick or Treat stations, where they’ll have the chance to sample some traditional American sweets.
Check out Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween, where Elmo, Abby and the rest of the gang put on a song-filled magical stage show to cheer up their friend The Count and get him in the Halloween spirit. The only way you and the cheery Sesame Street characters can do this is by singing and dancing along…so don’t forget your dancing shoes!
Another event you can’t miss is Penelope’s Garden Party, where guests will feel like they’re at a real underwater party as bubbles and characters in sea-inspired costumes float around them. There will also be a live DJ, the chance to indulge in some arts and crafts and even some animal interactions sure to keep the whole family happy.
Just before the park closes, take the kids along to the Spooktacular Dance Party for more dancing, bubbles and under-the-sea friends. The perfect way to round off a day of Halloween-filled fun!
Remember, all these spooktacular events are included absolutely free with your theme park admission, but if you would like to upgrade your day with even more Halloween fun, you can also book a Dine with Shamu 'Spooktacular Brunch' (complete with some amazing Halloween surprsies and seasonal fare!) for an additional cost via SeaWorld.
