The NBA basketball season runs between October and April (this year the last match is on the 8th April) so if you’re lucky enough to be travelling to Orlando in the next few months, you’re in with a chance of catching a game.
The Orlando Magic team is one of the most successful teams in the NBA and they’ll be taking on the Golden State Warriors, the Chicago Bulls and even their main South-Eastern rivals, Miami Heat, this season. With all these great teams, you can be sure you’re seeing the very best of the US’s basketball talent. Three hours of slam-dunks, insane dribbling moves and ‘did you see that?!’ baskets from the other side of the court guarantee you won’t ever be bored watching this hugely entertaining and exciting game. Be prepared to be tense, very tense, as star player Nikola Vucevic sets up for that all important shot.
Just the stadium alone is a sight to be seen; with a 20,000 person capacity, the stadium lights up on match nights and buzzes with excitable energy. There’s a Budweiser Baseline Bar and a food court too, so you can really get into the spirit of this all-American evening. We think it’s a great way to spend an evening in Orlando whether you love basketball or not – no one could resist the atmosphere of this incredible stadium!
With tickets starting from as little as £17, it doesn’t cost much to get a slice of the sporting action. Find out more about seating and ticketing options here.
