As soon as you walk into the dark, dusty shop you’ll see a familiar scene where hundreds of boxes of wands are stacked right up to the ceiling. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey- Fly through the corridors of Hogwarts and up above the stunning castle grounds with Harry and his friends. This exhilarating journey places you right into scenes from the films that you’ll instantly recognise.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts- An extraordinary 3D ride that takes you deep underground to the vaults at Gringotts which are guarded by a whole range of unusual creatures. You’ll have to get past the evil Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange as well as a deadly fire-breathing dragon if you ever want to get out.
Dragon Challenge- Which dragon will you choose? Will it be the Chinese Fireball or the Hungarian Horntail? Whichever one you go for, prepare for a high-speed chase as the two dragons, twist, loop and intertwine in a race towards the Triwizard Cup.
Flight of the Hippogriff- A great ride for the whole family which will send you racing around the pumpkin patch outside Hagrid’s Hut, all whilst on the back of a Hippogriff.
Catch the Hogwarts Express:
Gleaming on the platform with steam billowing in the wind; The Hogwarts Express is a pretty impressive sight! If you’re visiting both Universal parks you’ll have the opportunity to climb on-board and enjoy the ride, as the enormous train transports you between the two.
If you’re at Universal Studios Florida, you’ll find yourself standing on platform 9 ¾ at the iconic Kings Cross Station. Journey through the picturesque British countryside on the outskirts of London, until you reach the beautiful destination of Hogsmeade. If you’re travelling in the other direction, you’ll start at Hogsmeade and encounter some familiar faces from the movies on your enchanting adventure to London.
Sample the tastiest treats from the Wizarding world:
A visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter wouldn’t be complete without an ice cold glass of Butterbeer. Quench your thirst and cool down from the Floridian heat with this refreshing wizard favourite. A combination of creamy caramel, butterscotch and vanilla flavours, topped with a frothy head, you really can’t go wrong!
Indulge in a delicious lunch at either the Three Broomsticks (Hogsmeade) or The Leaky Cauldron (Diagon Alley), where both offer fresh, hearty British cuisine. Enjoy dishes like fish & chips, shepherd’s pie and toad in the hole. There are some fantastic shops at both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, so why not treat yourself to some wizarding goodies? With so much to choose from, it’ll be hard not to take it all home! If you wander through the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley you’ll find Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes- the novelty joke shop run by cheeky double act Fred and George Weasley, Quality Quidditch Supplies- the place to go to get your kit and pick up a shiny Golden Snitch, and Madam Malkin’s Robes for all Occasions- offering the finest robes for wizards and witches.
The quaint village of Hogsmeade is home to the legendary Honeydukes sweet shop, where it’s like walking into a confectionary paradise. This is the place where you’ll find famous snacks that you’ve seen in the movies, like Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans. Be warned though, they really are every flavour! Find all the wizard supplies you need as well as some more unusual items like The Monster Book of Monsters inside Dervish and Banges!

Fancy sending a letter home to your friends and family to tell them about your amazing time in Orlando? When you’re a wizard you don’t use a standard post service; everything is sent by owl of course! In the village of Hogsmeade you can send a letter the wizarding way at Owl Post. It will even be stamped with an official Hogsmeade postmark.
