This year, Halloween Horror Nights takes place on select nights from September 16th to October 31st on the streets of Universal Studios Florida. This is the 26th annual Halloween Horror Nights event that the park has held, and each year it gets bigger and more ghastly than before!
Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event which means that you’ll have the run of the park after dark with a limited number of other guests and, of course, just a few grisly and terrifying creatures! Explore the chilling haunted houses, frighteningly realistic scare zones and take in the outrageous live shows from behind your clamped fingers on what will definitely be the most terrifying night of your life. The park will be open for the event on the following dates, so manke sure to plan accordingly if you want to expierence it:
- September 16, 17,18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30
- October 2, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 31
As you make your way around the dimly lit and spookily-decorated park, watch out for the horrifying creatures that are ready to jump out and scare you out of your skin...they'll stop at nothing until you're running away screaming!
Last year, Universal ‘welcomed’ creepy creatures and dastardly demons to its nine different haunted mansions spread out around the park. Familiar faces included the dark creatures from Insidious, the spine-tingling walkers from The Walking Dead, axe wielding vigilantes from The Purge, psychopaths Freddy and Jason, An American Werewolf and of course old HHN favourite Jack the Clown. If you want to read more about last year's line up and previous years, check out our HHNs blogs...if you dare!
The remaining 3 houses included ‘RUN: Blood, Sweat and Fears’, where unwitting guests were invited to take part in a brutal popular television series in which they had to escape Hellgate prison, and ‘Body Collectors: Recollections’ where it doesn’t matter to the collectors if you’re dead or alive – they’re after you anyway! Up last was the Asylum in Wonderland 3D house which sounds every bit as psychedelic and disorientating as you might expect from the name - would you make it out alive?
This year, the line-up is yet to be announced, but we’re sure it’s going to be a horrifying affair! To get your tickets, head over to our Universal Orlando pages for our great value Halloween Horror Nights Frequent Fear Pass and combo tickets!
