Stepping through the rainbow gateway and into the shop, which is situated just inside the main gate, guests are in for a sensory overload as the store’s bright and colourful décor bring to live the fabulous world of Hello Kitty. The Hello Kitty Shop Featuring Hello Kitty and Friends is divided into four sections: Hello Kitty Town, Hello Kitty Sweet Yummy Shop, Hello Kitty Lounge and Hello Kitty at the Movies, so there’s plenty to explore!
At Hello Kitty Town, shoppers can browse products from Hello Kitty’s world, some of which are unique and exclusive to the Universal Orlando store. Or, if you prefer sweet treats to cuddly toys, make a beeline for Hello Kitty Sweet Yummy Shop, where you can sink your teeth into Keroppo S’more Fudge, Hello Kitty Chocolate Cupcakes and Strawberry Rainbow Fudge…yum! We particularly like the look of the Hello Kitty-inspired milk chocolate sprinkle apple, which comes covered in pink and white sprinkles and, of course, the signature bow!
In the Hello Kitty Lounge, get comfortable in a range of furry slippers, fuzzy dressing gowns and giant Hello Kitty plush as you pick out your favourite weekend attire. Finally, head to Hello Kitty at the Movies to meet the lady herself next to a classic movie background. There’s even the chance to design your own Hello Kitty merchandise at the shop, including creating a souvenir one-off version of Hello Kitty’s bow.
The brand new Hello Kitty shop is bound to be a firm favourite with park guests, and we can't wait to see it ourselves!
