That’s right, The Horrors of Blumhouse is back, but this year it’s totally different. If you’re not familiar with Blumhouse, it’s a production company that’s famous for producing terrifying horror movies like The Purge, Paranormal Activity, Sinister and Insidious to name just a few. The Horrors of Blumhouse haunted maze will bring scenes from two Blumhouse classics to life.
If you’re brave enough to step inside, you’ll become immersed into scenes from hit films ‘Happy Death Day’ and ‘The First Purge’. Check out the video below for a look at what’s in store…
Universal have promised that this haunted house will have you “running for your life” as you come face to face with Happy Death Day’s Babyface killer and a horde of Purgers! The frightening journey begins with moments from Happy Death Day, where you witness a college student trying to break a murderous cycle. It won’t be long before you find yourself fighting for survival against her deranged killer, who’s concealing his face with the mask of the college mascot.
Next, you’ll go back to The First Purge to discover how the world changed when all crime became legal for one night only. But be warned, when the siren sounds the Purgers will be joining you! If you don’t manage to lock yourself away, you might not make it out again.
Universal have already confirmed that for the first time ever there will be a haunted house inspired by the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. The line-up also includes houses themed on classic horror movies like Trick ‘r Treat, Halloween 4 and Poltergeist. There will also be lots of Universal original storylines, imagined by the Halloween Horror Nights creative team.
It’s not too late to be part of the action. Halloween Horror Nights 2018 begins on 14th September, running on select nights through to the 3rd November.
