Last month, Universal announced that an exciting new show would be launching at the Universal Studios Florida park. Fans will be pleased to hear that there won’t be a long wait to get a glimpse of the show, as it is now officially open!
Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is unlike any show Universal have ever created before. It’s a celebration of the movies, featuring moments inspired by characters from some of your favourite Universal Orlando attractions and blockbuster films. This incredible show brings all of your favourites together in one stunning performance. Look out for characters from Fast & Furious, ET, Jurassic World, Despicable Me, Harry Potter and much more!
Universal have built a brand new, dedicated viewing area right next to the lagoon, so that you can get the best view of the show. Watch in awe as iconic moments from the movies are projected onto panoramic, multi-layer water screens using state-of-the-art technology. There’s more than 120 dancing fountains in total, as well as lasers, special effects and even pyrotechnics!
A rousing score of classic hits from the movies echoes through the park as you relive a series of famous scenes. The surrounding area is transformed with lights and projections making all of the buildings around you part of the performance. Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is great for the whole family, as it features clips from both old and new movies, that each and every guest can enjoy, evoking a sentimental feeling as you take it all in.
