Where to Dine at Universal CityWalk
5 must-try restaurants!
Universal CityWalk is just a short distance from the incredible Universal theme parks. After building up an appetite, stop for a bite to eat at one of these amazing restaurants …

For those of you with a sweet tooth-

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen:

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen Universal CityWalk

This unique steampunk inspired restaurant officially opened on 22nd September, making this the latest addition to CityWalk’s restaurant line-up. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is something you really can’t miss! A cocoa paradise that’s perfect for chocolate lovers, the menu consists of tasty ice cream sundaes, sweet waffles and a variety of mammoth milkshakes. We’d recommend the chocolate ice cream shake topped with a delicious red velvet cake!

There’s also a range of mouth-watering savoury dishes with a difference, including steak, burgers topped with crispy onions and a fried egg, and our favourite the coffee and chocolate stout chicken wings.

For live music-

Hard Rock Café:

Hard Rock Cafe Universal CityWalk

This restaurant is absolutely enormous, and holds the record for being the largest Hard Rock Café in the world. Serving up typical American cuisine, this is the place to come if you want to grab a nice juicy burger, sticky barbecue chicken wings or some creamy mac and cheese. Make sure you save some room for dessert as there’s so many tasty treats to choose from, although we think the chocolate molten cake would be hard to say no to!

Iconic music videos are played throughout the restaurant non-stop, and memorabilia belonging to some of the most famous artists in the world including Elvis, the Beatles and Bob Dylan to name just a few, adorn the walls. Afterwards head to the 'Coliseum of Rock 'n' Roll" to experience Hard Rock LIVE.

For when you don’t want to miss the game-

NBC Sports Grill & Brew:

The NBC Sports Grill and Brew invites you to come and watch the biggest sporting matches, and with almost 100 HD screens lining the walls showing constant sports coverage, they guarantee you won’t miss a second! The menu is made up of over 75 different items and even includes an impressive seven-layer banana cake! For something savoury, the range of Angus beef burgers are incredible and the pulled pork and Caribbean Mahi are also near the top of our list. Always open until late, this restaurant is a great place to come for a few drinks with friends.

For something different-

The Cowfish:

The Cowfish Universal CityWalk

Most people wouldn’t dream of putting sushi and burgers together, but at Cowfish it just seems to work! The first restaurant of its kind in the world, this fusion between burgers and sushi, or “Burgushi” as they’ve named it, has been drawing crowds since it opened back in December 2014.

If you want to try a bit of everything, go for the bento box, which includes a mini burger with American cheese, pickles and chopped red onion, sweet potato fries, Thai cucumbers, edamame and a 4-piece sushi roll of your choice. Kids will love the interactive fish tanks where they can design their very own fish and later see them swimming around the restaurant, and adults will love the creative flavours.

For something fun-

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville:

Margaritaville isn’t just about great food and drink, “it’s a state of mind”. This family-friendly restaurant offers kids the chance to play on the parakeet beach area (right next door at Lone Palm Airport) and grown-ups the chance to indulge in a refreshing Margarita straight from a giant erupting volcano!

There are 3 bars to choose from and an outdoor seating area that overlooks CityWalk- perfect for watching the world go by. The volcano nachos are great for sharing and the burgers have been voted the best in Orlando (by Orlando Magazine) so you really won’t want to miss out on the fantastic food. Each night, the tropical oasis transforms into a lively venue with dancing and live music, so if you’re looking for a good night out, this is the place to be!
