The Evil Dead maze is the second house to be revealed in the Halloween Horror Nights 2013 line up, the first being The Cabin in the Woods. This iconic cult film, originally written and directed by Sam Raimi was released in the early eighties to rave reviews. Online, the classic horror movie has received reviews that describe it as 'gruesome', 'gory', 'a film guaranteed to scare and undeniably shocking' and 'a horrific masterpiece.' However, no matter how successful Raimi was in achieving the perfect dark and twisted horror movie, The Evil Dead was remade and released earlier this year, for those of us that managed to miss out on the terror first time round! It was clearly the saddistic population that made this movie became an instant blockbuster, all over again, luring audiences in and haunting them at night - long after they had seen it.
So, of course, it would only make sense that Universal would choose to revision this menacing movie for the pleasure, or torture - depending which way you look at it - of Halloween Horror Night guests this 2013! And there really is no escaping this one, whether you're headed to Universal Studios Orlando or Hollywood, the Evil Dead will be awaiting your arrival this Halloween. Few details have been revealed just yet, but if you are one of the saddistic types we mentioned earlier, then we would advise that you watch the Evil Dead films again, watch them closely and memorise each and every scene, because it's pretty likely you'll find yourself front and centre in at least one of the most iconic scenes - and aren't these usually the scariest ones?
You've seen the Evil Dead on screen, now prepare to meet them face to face.
If you think you can handle it, there's no need to wait a moment longer, Attraction Tickets Direct have a whole selection of Halloween Horror Nights tickets to facilitate your most fearsome nightmares.
Remember Universal's HHNs is no walk in the park - don't say we didn't warn you!
