3 New Events Starting this January at Walt Disney World
Let's kick off 2017 in the right way...
Spring has come early to Walt Disney World with this incredible array of fun and exciting events, only at the Disney parks...

Disney After Hours

Beginning on the 20th January, there are 7 dates this spring where you can enjoy an amazing after-hours experience at Walt Disney World. This is a separately ticketed event, which means if you want to enjoy 25 popular attractions and character interactions after the park closes, you’ll need to buy an additional ticket – but it’s well worth it for this incredible and rare event where queues will be a fraction of what they are during the day!

As well as the opportunity to ride amazing attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain in the dark, and to meet and greet the Disney princesses, there is also unlimited ice cream, popcorn and select beverages included with your ticket. Numbers are limited, so book quickly if you don’t want to miss out!

Epcot International Festival of the Arts

In just 2 days’ time, a brand-new Festival of the Arts will be debuting at Epcot – an enticing mix of visual, culinary and performing arts from all over the world, that is guaranteed to leave you inspired and, hopefully, with a full stomach!

The event takes place for 6 weeks and promises to unveil new art, Broadway talent performing a number of famous Disney shows including The Lion King, and culinary creations that are a work of art in themselves. Don’t miss it if you’re at Epcot during this time.

‘Let the Magic Begin’ Welcome Show

This week, a brand new welcome show for guests arriving at The Magic Kingdom debuted to rave reviews. The show kick-starts a magical day at the park right on the Castle Forecourt Stage at the entrance to the park and includes a welcome from Mickey Mouse himself, as well as dozens of his famous friends from classic Disney films such as Cinderella, Mary Poppins and Aladdin.
