Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade:
You won’t be able to take your eyes off this fantastic parade. Indulge in the ultimate Disney experience and wave at your favourite characters as they make their way down Main Street, with the perfect view of Cinderella’s stunning castle in the background. Expect to see an enormous fire breathing dragon, Captain Hook chasing Peter Pan and Wendy as they soar through the sky, Merida on top of a huge bagpipe and a beautiful floral garden of Disney princesses. Unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, you’ll be amazed by the dazzling spectacular, packed with music, performers on stilts and plenty of fun from start to finish.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire:
This brand new show has recently made its debut at The Magic Kingdom. Mickey is hosting a fun filled festival and you’re invited! Take your place in front of the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage and get ready for the show. You’ll be able to see a mixture of classic and contemporary Disney characters come together for the celebration. Look out for Donald & Daisy Duck, Goofy, Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Anna, Elsa and Olaf! Sing and dance along to popular Disney hits and be dazzled by the special effects.
Wishes Night-time Spectacular:
Possibly the most magical show of all and definitely one of the most popular, Wishes is simply unmissable! You might want to arrive early for this one to make sure you get a good spot in front of the castle. Watch in amazement as the night sky is filled with a burst of vibrant colours and the castle illuminates with a spectacular projection show. You’ll hear the voices of Disney characters against a backdrop of famous Disney songs while being mesmerised by the most incredible fireworks display you’ve ever seen. Make sure you look out for Tinkerbell flying overhead!
Main Street Electrical Parade:
An amazing display that sees The Magic Kingdom come to life at night. Tinkerbell leads a parade of glittering floats through the park, decorated with half a million sparkling lights! Listen to the upbeat soundtrack and watch in awe as one by one the Disney characters arrive for the party! Wave to Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Pinocchio and Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs as they wave back at you from their enchanting floats. Look out for illuminated teapots, dragons and Captain Hook’s ship. It’s definitely worth seeing both a daytime and night-time parade as they each offer a completely unique but equally magical experience.
Main Street Philharmonic at Main Street U.S.A:
A rumbling drum roll signals the start of this extraordinary philharmonic performance. Wander along Main Street to find the talented 12-piece marching band in their dapper red and white uniforms. The talented team perform a selection of Disney classics with a twist as well as traditional old-school marches and a serving of swing. They even take requests, so make sure you ask for any Disney songs you want to hear to make the show unforgettable!
Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial:
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a pirate? Captain Jack Sparrow is on the lookout for junior pirates to join his crew in this lively performance. If you think you’ve got what it takes, put yourself to the test and volunteer to begin your pirate training. If you’re lucky enough to be selected, you’ll be thrown straight in the deep end (not literally!) with a sword battle against one of the mischievous crew. Jump on board and you’ll be taught the art of “distract and flee” before claiming your pirate membership scroll!
Character Meet & Greet sessions:
Even though character meet and greets don’t exactly count as shows, you can’t visit The Magic Kingdom without experiencing at least one, although we suggest trying to fit in as many as possible! Throughout the day there will be scheduled appearances where you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet your favourite Disney characters! Make sure you bring your camera so that you can take lots of photos to remember the magical moment. Visit Ariel in her grotto, Cinderella at Fairy-tale Hall, The Toy Story gang in Tomorrowland and Alice in Wonderland at the Mad Tea Party!
