The first new thing that visitors will spot is the reimagined Old Port Royale, where guests check in for their Caribbean adventure. The new guest reception is designed to be more welcoming – with better access to services, amenities and dining.
The dining and entertainment complex have also been overhauled, with an all-new Centertown Market restaurant for casual dining, the re-imagined Shutters restaurant with waterfront dining and the brand-new Banana Cabana outdoor bar and lounge. The Calypso Trading Post will also be accessible through the re-designed Old Port Royale.
So, what’s new?
Centertown Market – The restaurant has been extended and also enclosed to create a quick-service restaurant that still retains its market-inspired vibe. Accented shutters, light pendants made from glass bottles and beautiful awnings define the style of this unique restaurant area. For those guests in a rush, Grab n’ Go market service with speciality coffee and quick bites are available.
Shutters – This beachfront restaurant has been totally overhauled to reflect the hotel’s island mentality. Bathed in warm natural light through the giant shutters which give the restaurant its name, guests will love the chilled and relaxed design of this exciting fresh dining area.
Banana Cabana – Seating areas surrounded by drapes have popped up pool-side for the all-new festive bar Banana Cabana. The main feature of the new bar is a central communal table made from a wooden boat, but there are also quirky steel drums seating area to look out for too!
