Celebrate Easter at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World have always been big on tradition, and their goal for every holiday period is to make all their guests feel right at home at the most magical place on earth. Disney love to host a big celebration, and this Easter time is no different as they have heaps of special activities planned to make sure you have an Easter like no other!
What to look out for in the parks
Magic Kingdom
Easter Bunny Meet and Greet – On select days in April Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny will be available daily at Bunny Lane Garden (on the left side of Main Street when entering the park) for a very special Easter meet and greet. PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to take some pictures so you can always remember your Easter trip!

Spring Trolley Show – All the citizens of Main Street, U.S.A. in Disney Magic Kingdom will come out dressed to the nines in bright pastels after arriving on a horse-drawn trolley decorated with colourful bouquets of flowers and ribbons, during the Easter celebration. They will even entertain guests with a range of songs to celebrate the arrival of spring!

Easter Egg Hunt – The infamous Easter Egg Hunt will run in Epcot this year from April 10-20.  To get involved you can buy the maps at the Heritage Manor at the American Adventure Pavilion Disney Traders, The International Gateway, Pin Central, or Port of Entry for $4.95.
Once you have your Easter Egg Hunt Map, you can start recording your hidden eggs, themed after Disney characters, by simply placing the right character sticker in the matching location on the special map. After the hunt return your map to Disney Traders in Epcot and participate in an –egg-scramble’ to pick up your surprise.
Disney Hollywood Studios
“Maleficent” Sneak Peak - An extended preview of the new movie “Maleficent” will be shown daily at the ABC Sound Studio, in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park beginning on April 18, and continuing through to mid-June.  The movie starring Angelina Jolie opens in theatres on May 30th 2014.
Where to get some Easter grub…
A number of Easter meals are held at select resort locations on Easter Day at Disney World, and details for these Easter meals are usually announced a few weeks before the holiday begins.  If you have already booked your Disney tickets, we advise you to register for MyDisneyExperience, as you can start reserving meals from 180 days before you travel.  This means you can avoid the disappointment of your favourite restaurant being fully booked during your Easter holiday to Walt Disney World.
Our recommendation:
Boma – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.  This restaurant is offering a special Easter buffet 7:30am to 2pm at $21.99 for adults and $11.99 for children on Sunday 20th April 2014.
