At the exciting Disney D23 Expo in August, which featured a number of updates and announcements to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida Parks, details of a new Cirque du Soleil show were also revealed.
Described as a ‘love letter’ to the art of Disney animation, the as-yet-unnamed show will be coming to Disney Springs in spring 2020. Visitors will have their imaginations set into motion in this all-new collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, in this mystical show inspired by Disney animation.
The animator’s desk becomes the stage in this new Cirque show, while drawings come magically and wonderfully to life. Prepare to be whisked away in a celebration of life and all of its beautiful movements via Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic mastery.
Set to open at Disney Springs in 2020, tickets for this unique show will be available to purchase very shortly, so please check back for updates.
