Epcot’s annual International Flower and Garden Festival is back! Starting today, the festival will run through to the 28th May, giving you plenty of time to check it out for yourself. As well as the park’s amazing attractions, this festival gives you the chance to admire stunning floral displays, Disney-themed topiaries, delicious food, live entertainment and much more.
Throughout the park, you’ll find amazing topiaries designed to look like classic Disney characters. We’d recommend spending some time exploring the park to see how many of these you can find, as they make for a great photo opportunity! Here are a few of our favourites that you should look out for…
Anna and Elsa
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Beauty and the Beast
And of course… Mickey and Minnie
That’s not all though, as well as the impressive topiaries and beautiful floral displays there will be a host of live concerts taking place, as part of the Garden Rocks Concert Series. The concerts will be held at the America Gardens Theater every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the International Flower and Garden Festival and will feature world-famous artists. What’s even better, is that the concerts are included with your Epcot tickets. Smash Mouth, Lonestar, the Village People, STARSHIP and the Spinners are just a few of the acts on this year’s line-up.
Make sure you try some of the tasty food on offer while you’re there. For a limited time, a host of festival-exclusive outdoor kitchens will be set up around the World Showcase. The specialty menu will include mouth-watering dishes like beef tenderloin, honey tandoori chicken, potato pancakes with caremlised ham and onions, seared scallops and cheddar fondue, to name just a few.
If you’re visiting Epcot before 28th May make sure you check it out!
