The Walt Disney World parks have SO many incredible snacks, you could visit time and time again and still find something new to try. You might not expect to find healthy food at a theme park, but at Walt Disney World, there are lots of healthy (and tasty!) options to choose from. While we’re sure you’ll want to indulge in a few sweet treats too, it’s important to keep things balanced during your holiday. That’s why we’ve put together a list of our favourite healthy food that you can find in the Disney parks…
Roasted Corn on the Cob
You can find this healthy snack at both the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The mouth-watering corn is served buttered and you can also choose from a range of spices to add for a bit of extra flavour. Italian spice, Jamaican jerk seasoning and BBQ (one of our favourites!) are just a few options.

Satu’li Create-Your-Own Bowl
Pandora- The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a must-visit! While you’re there, we’d recommend stopping by the Satu’li Canteen to refuel. There’s plenty of fresh, healthy food options to choose from here. The create-your-own bowl is our go-to dish and with a total of 48 possible combinations, there really is something for everyone.
Want to know how it works? First you choose your protein- either grilled beef, chicken, sustainable fish or crispy fried tofu, then choose a base of quinoa & vegetable salad, sweet potato hash, mixed whole grain & rice or romaine & kale salad. Finally choose a sauce to go on top and you’re done! If you’re looking for something healthy and delicious, you’ll definitely find both here.

Chicken Skewers
For a flavoursome but healthy meal, head to the Harambe Market. With so many amazing dishes to choose from, it’ll be hard to pick just one. One of our favourites is the grilled chicken skewers, which are marinated in mouth-watering African spices. You’ll get a serving of papaya slaw and a black-eyed pea salad on the side.

Sushi
Epcot is one of our favourite places to eat at Walt Disney World as there is so much choice. The 11 World Showcase countries offer incredible food from all over the world, with lots of healthy options too. Although, one of the best places to go for healthy food has to be the Japan pavilion. The Katsura Grill has sushi, miso soup, steamed rice and edamame beans on the menu. Perfect for a lunchtime snack!

Chicken Strawberry Salad
One of the first things that comes to mind when you think of healthy food is salad, but this isn’t just any salad. The chicken strawberry salad at The Plaza Restaurant is such a hit with guests that it’s never left the menu. This tasty dish is made up of grilled chicken breast, garden greens, cucumbers, fresh strawberries and gorgonzola, tossed in a White Zinfandel vinaigrette dressing. When the sun is shining and you just want something light and refreshing to eat, give this a go.

Fresh Fish
One of the most magical dining experiences at Walt Disney World, is dining alongside your favourite characters. If you want to make sure you’re eating healthily you don’t have to miss out on character dining as there are lots of healthy meals on the menu. A lot of the character dining restaurants such as Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be our Guest, serve ‘fish of the day’ with fresh vegetables. Perfect for those wanting to eat a healthy but hearty meal.

Hummus & Vegetables
Hummus is a great snack for when you need a little pick-me-up in between exploring the parks and the good news is, it’s easy to find. There are loads of counter service restaurants and food carts that sell hummus and vegetables, so you can quickly pick it up on the go. You’ll usually find carrots, celery and pitta bread available to accompany your hummus too.

“A Lot of Steak” Salad
If you love steak but are looking for something healthier, this is the ideal choice. Like the name suggests, you get “a lot” of steak with this salad, so it will definitely leave you feeling full. So, what’s in it? There’s grilled steak, romaine lettuce, pickled jalapenos, red onion, red peppers, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, cucumber and parsley with a mint vinaigrette dressing. Sounds good, right?

Flatbread
While these may not be the healthiest thing on our list, they’re a great alternative to typical theme park snacks like pizza. If you choose wisely, you can enjoy a tasty flatbread, guilt-free! We love this Caprese flatbread which is covered with plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
