Spooky Surprises Await at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Disney's favourite family-friendly seasonal event is back!
Starting as early as the 25th August this year, guests can enjoy a family friendly Halloween event which will leave little kids and big kids alike wide-eyed with wonder!

Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party kicks off at Magic Kingdom at the end of this month and will continue for 32 dates, providing spooky delights to all those who attend until the 1st November 2017. The party starts at 7pm sharp (after the park closes and reopens) and finishes at midnight each night.

The Halloween party is a family friendly event which is a separately ticketed and exclusive experience away from the day time theme park crowds. Expect the park to be fully decked out in Halloween decorations and your favourite Characters and Villains to have had a spooky makeover especially for this event. Some of the special creepy but cute Characters you can expect to see are Jack Skellington and Sally, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in their Halloween costumes, Cruella de Ville and Jafar.

Guests will even have access to some of their favourite attractions after dark, including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean!

Aside from getting to ride your favourite attractions in a whole new ‘light’, there are four other big reasons to visit, starting with Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. This exclusive seasonal parade runs twice, starting at 8:30pm and 11:15pm, with a hair-raising ride from the Headless Horseman before a stream of spook-tastic floats and ghoulish Characters descend on the park. Remember though, all these ghoulish events are suitable for children of all ages!

You won’t want to miss the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular (taking place on Main Street U.S.A.) either, where all your favourite Disney Villains will come together to put on an incredible spooky show, just for you! Keep your eyes peeled for the three sisters form Hocus Pocus, as well as Maleficient, Dr Facilier and Oogie Boogie creating a not-to-be-missed show of projections, amazing dancers and special effects. The show takes place 3 times throughout the evening, at 9:15pm, 10:40pm and 12am.

Speaking of spell-tacular shows, you’ll also want to check out the Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, where the band will be belting out some ‘bone-rattling’ classics, which may include Boo, Cruella Devil, The Oogie Boogie Son, Grim Grinning Ghosts and Ghist Riders in the Sky.

Make space in your evening schedule to find a good spot for the Happy HalloWishes fireworks at 10:15pm. Disney promise ‘spine-tingling pyrotechnic effects and haunting melodies’ to really make sure your spook-tastic evening at Magic Kingdom goes off with a bang! Watch as famous baddies maleficient, Ursula, Cruella de Vil and Jafar steal the show as they howl out their scary tunes.

You can book your tickets for this unique seasonal event already, and we really advise you to book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are limited and are likely to sell out, so make sure you don’t miss out. This is a really fun event where creativity is encouraged and adults are able to dress up. Masks unfortunately are not allowed - make sure you review Disney’s guidelines on what costumes can be worn into the park before you leave the UK!
