Last week the US Disney parks hosted a Disney Limited Time Magic: Independence week, joining the patriotic spirits of America and celebrating their great day of independence. Of course, there's no such Fourth of July without fireworks and there's no place on the planet that does fireworks quite like the Happiest Place on Earth, where they are bigger, better and brighter!
Disney guests were able to marvel at the Magic Kingdom's Independence Day firework and light display, 'Disney's Celebrate America - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky'. A typical Disney nighttime spectacular, complete with pyrotechnics, fireworks, lighting and music with the Cinderella Castle at its centre, taking on a patriotic Fourth of July glow for Independence Day. the highlight of a Disney Independence Day visit.
Disney's Hollywood Studios had guests rockin' out patriotic style at the Rockin' Fourth of July Celebration, which ended the night with an electric firework show, and in keeping with the theme the fireworks were accompanied by rock music. Over at Epcot Betsy Ross, Ben Franklin, and the Disney characters dressed up in their patriotic garb for a promenade near the American Adventure, Voices of Liberty performed a special Fourth of July concert, with a special patriotic salute and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth was drawn to a close with a five minute Independence Day firework feature, The Heartbeat of Freedom.
If Independence Day is to be celebrated with fireworks and Happiest Place on Earth ignites the planet with the best firework shows in the world, where else in America would you spend the Fourth of July other than at Walt Disney World Florida?
