Everyone visiting Walt Disney World dreams of meeting their favourite character, and in Orlando the Disney princesses really are theme park royalty. Nothing can compare to a magical meet and greet experience and our customers often tell us that this was the highlight of their holiday! Our top tip is to plan which princesses you’d most like to meet (we’d choose all of them!) and get there early to avoid queueing as these ladies are in high demand! Make sure you’ve got your autograph book and camera ready, to capture every single unforgettable moment. Here’s where you can meet your favourites:
Anna & Elsa:
Epcot: Frozen favourites Anna and Elsa have recently relocated to the Epcot park. Head to the Norway Pavilion where you’ll find a warm, cosy cabin with the princesses waiting to greet you. While you’re there make sure you try the new ‘Frozen Ever After’ ride that takes you on an exciting musical adventure through Arendelle. If you want to meet their lovable snowman friend Olaf, you can visit his summer paradise at the all new Celebrity Spotlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Magic Kingdom: At the Princess Fairytale Hall, you’re guaranteed to see a few familiar faces. There’s always a visiting princess joining Rapunzel so you’ll get the chance to meet two of your favourites while you’re there. If you want to see Rapunzel and the mischievous Flynn Rider together, check out the brand new show ‘Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire’ which takes place on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage.
Magic Kingdom: Meet Cinderella and one of her princess friends at the Princess Fairytale Hall and admire their beautiful dresses. You’ll get the chance to ask her about Prince Charming, her evil ugly sisters and that famous glass slipper! For something even more special, you can dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Acting as your hostess, Cinderella has invited along some of her friends to join you all for a delicious meal.
Magic Kingdom: Princess Aurora’s location has changed quite a lot, making her one of the hardest princesses to find. At the moment you may be lucky enough to meet her at the Princess Fairytale Hall, where she currently features as one of the visiting princesses. If you make your way to the Town Square in the afternoon, you might also find her outside the City Hall.
Epcot: If Princess Aurora is your favourite, your best chance to meet her is at the France Pavilion where there’s rarely a long queue. If you’d prefer something a bit more unique, try one of the princess storybook dining sessions held at the buffet style ‘Akershus Royal Banquet Hall’ restaurant.
Magic Kingdom: Tiana is one of the latest additions to the visiting princess line-up at the Princess Fairytale Hall. However, her more permanent spot can be found if you make your way over to Heritage House in Liberty Square. In the morning Tiana will be outside on her own, in her stunning ball gown, but in the evening she’ll be joined by Prince Naveen. If you want to see them both, the evening is the best time to stop by and say hello. Tiana, Naveen and Louis all appear in the new ‘Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire’ too!
Magic Kingdom: Jasmine regularly appears with Prince Aladdin meaning you’re likely to see two popular characters at once! Explore the Agrabah Bazaar in Adventureland and you’ll find the duo waiting to meet you. Afterwards, take flight on ‘The Magic Carpets of Aladdin’ ride in the same area.
Epcot: Discover the delights of the Moroccan Pavilion and get up close to Jasmine and Aladdin near the ‘Restaurant Marrakesh’.
Epcot: Toss a coin into the wishing well at the German Pavilion and your wish might just come true. A spot favoured by Snow White, enjoy a magical meet and greet with the original Disney princess in front of a beautiful backdrop. For a more intimate experience join her at ‘Akershus Royal Banquet Hall’.
Magic Kingdom: You can often find Snow White wandering through the Town Square in front of the Theatre chatting away to guests. She sometimes makes a guest appearance at the Princess Fairytale Hall, which is great for meeting a few of your favourites at once, just like a dining experience at 'Cinderella’s Royal Table'!
Magic Kingdom: Enjoy a magical interactive performance where Belle is the star of the show. Enter Maurice’s cottage in Fantasyland and get ready to hear Belle’s story. She may even ask you to join in and play a part in her magical tale. You’ll have the chance to take photos with Belle in her beautiful gold dress, although unfortunately there aren’t any opportunities for autographs here.
Epcot: Suitably located in the France Pavilion, you can meet Belle from 11am each day by the water’s edge. She’ll be wearing her classic blue dress, giving you a great opportunity to take a photo with her in a different outfit. You’ll also be able to get autographs here, so you’ll be one step closer to filling your autograph book!
Magic Kingdom: Become a part of her world at Ariel’s enchanting seaside grotto in Fantasyland. You’ll be able to take pictures with the mermaid princess in front of a huge seashell! For something a bit different, you can meet Ariel in her human form at ‘Cinderella’s Royal Table’; a great opportunity to take a rare photo of her in her finest princess attire!
Magic Kingdom: The most recent Disney princess to arrive at Walt Disney World after her official coronation took place in front of Cinderella’s castle back in 2013. Venture into ‘Fairytale Garden’ where lively bagpipe music plays in the background. Meet the feisty Merida before picking up some impressive archery skills.
Epcot: The vibrant China Pavilion is where you’ll find Mulan. There’s so much to see here as well as tasty food, but don’t forget to stop by the Temple of Heaven for your chance to see this Disney heroine. While you’re there admire a breath-taking performance from a talented acrobatic troupe called the ‘Jeweled Dragon Acrobats’ who have come to Epcot all the way from China!
Animal Kingdom: This is the only place to meet Pocahontas at Walt Disney World! The classic movie celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, and to commemorate the occasion Pocahontas moved to a new home at the Discovery Island Character Landing. Come and meet her throughout the day to hear all about her incredible adventures.
Top tip: If you want to meet as many princesses as possible in one day, the best place to go is the Magic Kingdom.
Top tip: If you’re desperate to see a particular princess, we recommend getting to the park early and heading straight to the meet and greet area, even before the session is due to start.
Top tip: A character dining experience is a great way to meet several princesses at the same time with plenty of time for photos and autographs as the princesses greet each table.
Top tip: Make sure you check out the line-up for the parades and shows that are scheduled on the day of your visit. You’ll be able to see your favourite princess together in a dazzling musical performance.
Top tip: Pick up a park guide to check meet and greet times so that you don’t miss out.
