Volcano Bay:

The wait is almost over! On 25th May, Universal’s third park will finally open. Volcano Bay, will be unlike anything you’ve seen before, combining luxurious relaxation experiences with thrilling water slides. The park’s centrepiece is the 200-foot tall Krakatau volcano. By day water rushes down the sides, but by night, the volcano comes to life as it erupts with blazing red lava!

Those who are brave enough can take the plunge on Volcano Bay’s star attraction- the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, which takes you racing right through the heart of the volcano. There’s a total of 18 exhilarating attractions for you to enjoy, and what’s even better, is that Volcano Bay promises to banish long queues once and for all, thanks to the high-tech Tapu Tapu wearable that lets you virtually wait in line.

Pandora- The World of Avatar:

 

Pandora- The World of Avatar Disney's Animal Kingdom

 

One of the most eagerly anticipated attractions set to open in Orlando this year, is Pandora- The World of Avatar. The exciting new expansion at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is a 12-acre land, inspired by the popular 2009 movie Avatar. Guests can admire the breath-taking floating mountains, try the unique cuisine at the Satu’li Canteen and experience 2 exciting rides. Avatar Flight of Passage lets guests soar above Pandora on the back of a Banshee, while Na’vi River Journey is a great family-friendly ride, taking guests on a mysterious journey into the depths of a bioluminescent rainforest. You’ll even get the chance to meet a Na’vi shaman.

Happily Ever After:

In just a few weeks’ time, a new night-time spectacular will debut at the Magic Kingdom. ‘Happily Ever After’ will replace Disney’s famous ‘Wishes’ show, and although we’re sad to see it go, Disney’s new offering sounds amazing! Happily Ever After will feature beloved Disney characters, an emotive original score, state-of-the-art projection mapping technology, lasers, and of course spectacular fireworks! You’ll be able to relive iconic Disney moments from movies like Frozen, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Moana, The Princess and the Frog and UP to name just a few. Make sure you end your night at the Magic Kingdom with a Happily Ever After!

The Music of Pixar LIVE!:

 

The Music of Pixar Live Disney's Hollywood Studios

 

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting ready to celebrate the fantastic music from Pixar’s most famous movies, with new night-time show- The Music of Pixar LIVE! Taking place at the Theater of the Stars, the show will run three times each night. You’ll be singing along in no time, as the sound of your favourite Pixar songs echo through the park, thanks to an impressive live orchestra! Listen out for classic hits from Toy Story, Finding Nemo, UP and Cars to name a few, and as the music plays, giant screens will show a montage of movie clips, outtakes and exclusive interviews.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival:

 

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

 

There’s still time to visit Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival, with the annual event running until 29th May. There is so much to explore at Epcot all year round, but with the festival in full bloom, there’s even more to see. One of our favourite things to do, is walk around the park and admire the extraordinary Disney-themed topiaries (there are more than 70!). Discover the colourful floral displays and vibrant gardens too, and pick up some expert tips from gardening professionals, to find out how to recreate the designs in your own garden. There’s also plenty of delicious food and drink to try at the new refreshment kiosks, as well as live music from the likes of STARSHIP and The Spinners, at the Garden Rocks Concert Series.

Seven Seas Food Festival:

 

Seven Seas Food Festival SeaWorld Orlando

 

There’s not long left to experience SeaWorld Orlando’s first ever Seven Seas Food Festival. With over 55 craft brews and more than 60 unique dishes to choose from, this festival is a foodies dream! A series of market places have been set up throughout the park, serving mouth-watering dishes from all over the world. Guests can try Peking Duck Lo Mein at the Asian Market, Brazilian Churrasco at the Brazilian Market, and Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream topped with caramel popcorn at the Korean Market, and that’s just a few of the tasty treats on offer! There’s also live music from popular country, Latin and rock artists at the Bayside Stadium.

LEGO Star Wars Days:

 

LEGO Star Wars Days LEGOLAND Florida

 

LEGOLAND Florida invites you to visit a galaxy far far away with LEGO Star Wars Days. For a limited time only, guests will be able to see some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars saga recreated in LEGO form, with a spectacular model display made up of 1.5 million LEGO bricks! Event highlights include a Star Wars themed costume parade for the little ones, a Droid scavenger hunt, and LEGO building activities inspired by famous Star Wars characters, settings and stories.

Sesame Street Kids Weekends:

 

Sesame Street Weekend Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

 

If you’re visiting Busch Gardens this month, little ones will love the Sesame Street Kids Weekends. Elmo, Big Bird and the Cookie Monster, are hosting a fun-filled party with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. There will be special craft stations for the kids to get creative, an exciting scavenger hunt, dance parties and a Sesame Street character parade!
