Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival is now in full swing, celebrating its 22nd year at the park. This year, the special event will be running for longer than ever before, giving guests 75 days to savour the mouth-watering food on offer. There’s also a record-breaking number of marketplaces this year, with 35 to choose from around the World Showcase.

The festival offers a great night out, with the atmosphere in the park completely changing as night falls. Enjoy delicious food from across the globe and quench your thirst with craft beers and refreshing cocktails. Some of our favourite dishes include the Beijing Roasted Duck Bao Bun (China), the Boeuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes (France) or the Charcuterie in a cone (Spain). For something to drink, we’d recommend the Pineapple Dole Whip with coconut rum, or an ice-cold Passion Martini Slush (France). There’s also plenty of entertainment to enjoy, including live music at the Eat to the Beat concert series.

When? Running until 13th November

Magical Dining Month

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is a great opportunity for you to try some delicious food at Orlando’s top restaurants, for an affordable price. Benihana, Copper Canyon Grill, STK, The Rusty Spoon and The Melting Pot are just a few of the fantastic restaurants taking part, and you’ll be able to enjoy a tasty 3-course meal for just $35.

This month it’s all about Halloween in Orlando…

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

It might seem like Halloween is still a while away, but at Walt Disney World the spooky celebrations have already begun! On select nights, Mickey invites guests to celebrate the season with an elaborate Halloween party, that’s fun for the whole family. It’s even something the little ones can enjoy, as there’s nothing too spooky.

Make sure you’ve got your camera handy, as you’ll get the chance to meet some of the Disney villains you love to hate. Look out for the likes of Jack Skellington, Cruella De Vil and the Queen of Hearts to name just a few. Enjoy the dazzling Happy HalloWishes firework spectacular as well as the famous Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, which features appearances from all your favourite characters, dressed in their finest Halloween attire.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween without some good old-fashioned trick or treating. Each guest will be given a bag to fill with goodies when they enter the park, and you’ll have plenty of fun searching for the treat zones. You’ll also be able to experience the park’s top attractions in the dark, making them even more thrilling than ever!

When?  August 25th – November 1st (Please note you’ll need a separate ticket for the party.)

Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights

This is one of the most famous Halloween events in the world, aiming to give adults the fright of their life. For those looking to experience the true horrors of Halloween, this is the perfect event for you. As night falls and the guests leave, Universal Studios Florida totally transforms into a horrifying place where “mutants, monsters and maniacs” roam the streets. This annual event is all about bringing to life some of the scariest horror movies of all time.

Those who are brave enough, must check out the terrifying haunted houses. Each house is a recreation of a classic horror movie, and you can expect plenty of surprises throughout. The Shining, American Horror Story, Ash Vs Evil Dead and The Purge, are just a few of the stories on the line-up.
