New for Disneyland Paris’ 25th anniversary, this spectacular celebration of your favourite Disney Princesses and swashbuckling fiends will be taking over the Disneyland® Park from 31st March to 31st May 2018. Whether you’re looking for a pirate’s life of adventure and plunder or a to be swept away on a Disney fairy-tale, you won’t be disappointed by the brand-new array of entertainment being added to the 25th anniversary line-up.
Don’t miss the brand-new outdoor show ‘Disney Pirate or Princess: Make your Choice!’ which features more than 85 performers. Show director Christophe Leclercq has created a fully interactive and unrestricted show where the audience interaction means that the show is different each time. Depending on the choices they make between princesses and pirates the story takes different twists and turns.
The spectacular 25th anniversary parade will also have a revamp for the launch of the new festival – with the pirates and princesses’ floats setting off from different ends of the parade in musical celebration before meeting in the middle at Central Plaza to allow guests to interact with the show.
On the Princess float, you can expect beautiful spring-inspired colours with Moana and 9 different Disney princesses including Cinderella, Belle and Rapunzel. They’ll be joined by Mickey Mouse himself on their float!
Meanwhile the Pirates float will take the form of a huge galleon manned by Captain Hook, Smee, Peter Pan and Wendy, accompanied by Minnie Mouse in her pirate’s outfit! An acrobatic show will be taking place in the ship’s riggings if you can tear your eyes away from these and other brand-new characters from Disney Junior’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
That's not all though! The iconic ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, has also been given added 'aaaaarghhh' after a makeover early last year. Captain Barbossa appears for the first time in the re-opened attraction which also features new audio-animatronics figures, costumes, special effects, lighting and sound, including some of the now-classic musical themes from the films. Make sure to check it out on your visit if you haven't experienced it already.
To get into the spirit of things, young guests can get dressed up and have their faces painted as either a Disney princess or a pirate and, of course there are plenty of opportunities for guests to meet their favourite Princesses or Pirates on their visit!*
