A Romantic Valentine’s Day in Paris
Spend Valentines day in the City of Love
It’s less than 4 weeks until Valentine’s Day but there’s still plenty of time to make it into a weekend to remember.

Last week we wrote a post about spending Valentine's Day weekend in New York, but if you’re looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, we’ve got the weekend for you. Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, which means it’s the perfect opportunity for a romantic weekend away. And with one of the most romantic cities in the world on our doorstep, it would be a shame to miss such an opportunity! With Friday flights returning late Sunday going for as little as £123, even at this late stage, it’s not too late to book. Here’s our run-down of what you could get up to while you’re there…

You could start the weekend as you mean to go on, with a few bubbles as you enjoy a champagne cruise along the Seine. Starting at 6pm, which means you’ll get to see Paris illuminated at night, the cruise takes you along the river past views of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Musée D’Orsay. You’ll get to sample 3 different types of Champagne and learn about how it’s made as you make your way slowly through the city of lights.

Spend the following day at Disneyland Paris which, you might be surprised to hear, is an unexpectedly romantic place to spend the day! Thousands of proposals take place here every year in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle and if one, or both of you, are huge Disney fans it will definitely be a day to remember. Right now, we are offering Winter Saver 1-day tickets from £34 (weekday visit) or £43 (weekend visit) per person, which reflects a 20% saving! Treat yourself to some grown up Disney dining in the evening with a romantic meal at the Auberge de Cendrillon, a beautiful restaurant that could rival anythin you'll find in the centre AND includes Disney theming!

On the day itself, why not spend an afternoon exploring a real-life palace at the Chateau de Versailles? Wrap up warm and explore the stunning gardens surrounding the palace, where you can visit the house of Marie Antoinette and even take a boat out on the lake if you can brave the cold! If you'd prefer to stay inside, you won't be missing out too much as walking theough the beautiful gilded gold hall of mirrors is an incredible experience, and you get to keep warm!

If this sounds like the romantic weekend away you’re in need of, check out our great range of Paris attraction tickets and get booking the ultimate brownie-point filled weekend!
