Things turn cold at Aquatica on Saturday 21st January 2012...
On Saturday 21st January the temperate waters of Aquatica turn arctic to host the third annual Polar Plunge fundraising event for the Special Olympics Florida.
The money raised from the sponsored plunge will provide a year’s worth of funding for sports training and competitions for both adults and children with intellectual disabilities. Subsequently, the training programmes will enhance physical fitness, self confidence and the life skills required to participate within their communities as constructive and reverent individuals.
Polar Plunge will be taking place at Aquatica on the 21st January from 10 am till 2 pm. If you fancy taking the plunge check out the Polar Plunge website. However, if you’d prefer your visit to Aquatica to resemble tropical temperatures as opposed to arctic chills, get your Aquatica tickets here.
