Rachel Booth breaks yet another record at a runDisney event!
Rachel Booth, two time winner of the Disney Half Marathon at Disneyland, won the Disney's Princess Half Marathon with a record breaking time at Disney World Orlando last weekend, 24th - 26th February 2012.
We can unveil that the winner of Disney’s Princess Half Marathon 2012 is Rachel Booth from Louisiana, who crossed the finish line at a record time of 1:18:11. Having previously participated in runDisney events in Disneyland California, it is to be noted that Rachel is a particularly special winner. In fact, in addition to her record breaking run at Disney’s Princess Half Marathon this year, Rachel has held the record for the first woman to cross the finish line in the Disneyland Half Marathon for the past two years. "This was a lot of fun to have my two children there to enjoy the whole experience and just to see mommy cross the finish line with Minnie and Mickey,'' said Rachel. "To do it at both Disneyland and Disney World, it really distinguishes it from other races. It definitely has a little bit of a special place in my heart.''
