Set to open in 2012, the Manta reached a major milestone at the start of November; the very first section of track was laid. This was the first of a total of 98 sections which will be installed over the coming months, with the roller coaster hopefully opening next year.
The double coaster gets its name from its unique Manta shape and the roller coaster is set to inspire riders with not only amazing underwater animal habitats but also a thrilling ride. Vital statistics wise, the roller coaster will clock in at just over half a mile with the ride lasting two minutes.
