SeaWorld Takes Rescued Dolphin into Rehabilitation

SeaWorld experts transported the rescued dolphin from the Gulf World Marine Park on the 26th January. SeaWorld have submitted the mammal into its rehabilitation facility to nurse it back to health.

On the 26th January 2012 SeaWorld Orlando took a stranded Atlantic spotted dolphin under its wings and began to nurse the mammal back to health. The dolphin was found stranded near Panama City Beach by the Gulf World Marine Park. SeaWorld’s animal care experts transported the rescued 240lb female dolphin from the park to SeaWorld Orlando’s Cetacean Rehabilitation Facility, as the rehabilitation space at the Marine Park was unable to accommodate it. The dolphin is continuing to receive cosntant supervision and care from the SeaWorld experts.

SeaWorld prides itself on its care and preservation of animals and have been doing so for the past forty five years, rescuing in excess of 20,000 animals.
