SeaWorld’s Penguins Fly First Class to New York
SeaWorld Penguins fly first class to New York on Delta Airlines.
SeaWorld penguins flew via Delta airlines to New York to make an appearance at the premiere of the Discovery Channel’s US version of Frozen Planet. Passengers on the Delta flight were treated to an unexpected penguin encounter.

Even those without SeaWorld tickets get to meet the SeaWorld penguins!

We adored this story so much that we just had to share it with you. A few days ago, aboard New York bound Delta Airlines Flight 486 the captain asked passengers if they were allergic to penguins. ‘No? Alright, we have a surprise for you,’ he said.

Once the plane was in full flight and the seatbelt sign was off, down the aisle from first class waddled Pete and Penny, the SeaWorld penguins. They had decided to treat the passengers to an impromptu appearance. The penguins were headed to New York for the premiere of America’s Frozen Planet on the Discovery Channel. "You can take pictures, but we ask that you don't touch them," the captain announced. Passengers, delighted by this little surprise, got their cameras out to capture this unique moment.

Meet Pete, Penny and the whole SeaWorld penguin posse with your SeaWorld tickets. If you’re headed to Orlando next year, you might want to get those SeaWorld tickets ready for the launch of SeaWorld’s new attraction Antarctica – Empire of the Penguin, coming to SeaWorld in 2013!
