Guests visiting Alton Towers this month will be able to enjoy virtually all of the park’s incredible attractions and the amazing water park too. At the Alton Towers theme park, the Alton Towers Dungeon (additional admission ticket required), which was initially closed, has now safely re-opened. Guests enjoying the dungeons can walk around a series of rooms designed to allow them to sample the sights, sounds and even the smells from Staffordshire's grisly past.
From the 1st of August as well, live entertainment has restarted throughout the parks and the resort, meaning fun for little ones is back on too!
Alton Towers water park re-opened on the 25th July, with guests requiring their usual admission pass plus a timed reservation to visit the park, in order to keep numbers manageable throughout the day.
In order to enter the waterparks, guests over the age of 11 who are medically able to will be required to wear a face covering while in the hotel area, in the reception area and up to the changing rooms. After this however, face masks are not required although social distancing measures will be in place.
