Universal Studios to close Jaws ride
Universal Studios Florida is set to close the classic Jaws ride to make way for a new attraction next year.

The popular ride which saw visitors take to the water and get “attacked” by a robotic replica of the great white shark that featured in the films will be closed on January 2nd for a new attraction.

The Jaws ride has been an important part of the history of the Orlando attraction as it was one the original line-up of rides when the park first opened in 1990. The owners understand that the ride based on the 1975 Steven Spielberg ride is a popular with guests and they have stated they will find a way to continue honouring the movie. It is unknown what exactly will replace the Jaws ride or when, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
