SeaWorld's Penguin Cam is Live!
SeaWorld San Diego joins forces with Discovery Channel to introduce the Penguin Cam.
SeaWorld San Diego and Discovery Channel joined forces to offer animal fans an intimate insight into the life of the 300 penguins that SeaWorld San Diego makes home to. Live streams will be available till the 30th April 2012.

Animal fans! SeaWorld has yet another innovative way for us all to get closer to the animals we share the planet with and we don’t even need your SeaWorld tickets for this one! SeaWorld San Diego and Discovery Channel have joined forces to present to the world The Penguin Cam.

The Penguin Cam was inspired by David Attenborough’s incredibly successful Frozen Planet series and will offer viewers the opportunity to watch daily feedings, streamed live, of the penguins from the marine park’s Penguin Encounter attraction. The Penguin Cam will also well feature talks from SeaWorld’s animal educators.

In addition to the live streams, SeaWorld experts will make a weekly appearance on the Discovery Channel as part of a chat show that allows the audience to ask the animal experts any questions they might have.

The Penguin Cam went live just yesterday and is available to watch on Frozen Planet’s fan site, as well as on SeaWorld’s web site and USTREAM till the 30th April. If what you really want is to see these beautiful flightless birds in real life, get your SeaWorld tickets and head to the Penguin Encounter attraction!
