Kick off a memorable day with AEA Luxury Tours/Mount n Beach Safaris, who will pick you up directly from your hotel for an immersive hike in the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage area. Your first stop is Calmsley Hill, a charming working farm where kangaroos, emus, wombats and koalas roam. Enjoy morning tea and explore the grounds at your leisure before heading into the heart of the Blue Mountains.

Take in panoramic views of the breathtaking Jamison Valley, choosing lookout spots away from the crowds whenever possible. Next, soak up the history and legends surrounding the famous Three Sisters rock formation at Eaglehawk Lookout. From here, journey through the mountains to Evans Lookout, where you’ll gear up with a lunch pack and start a scenic hike from Evans Lookout to Govett's Leap. This trail takes you across awe-inspiring valleys and ridges, unveiling the grandeur of the Grose Valley, often called Australia’s Grand Canyon.

Your hike concludes at Govett’s Leap, a renowned lookout boasting sweeping views and a 180-meter waterfall. To cap off this unforgettable day, you’ll visit the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens to discover unique flora, including the ancient Wollemi Pine. Your journey wraps up with a return to your hotel around 4:30–5:00 pm.

Terms and conditions for Blue Mountains - Hike The World Heritage

  • The 2-hour self-guided hike from Evans Lookout to Govetts Leap is suitable for active people with a reasonable level of fitness.
  • You MUST re-confirm your booking and pick-up arrangements locally at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Your exact pick-up time will be advised upon reconfirmation of your tour.
  • This tour operates with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 14 passengers.
  • The itinerary may change slightly without notice depending on weather conditions.
  • What to bring: Comfortable clothing, Walking shoes, Camera, Sunscreen and hat and a water bottle.
  • Beverages are not included and can be purchased at your own expense.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing as well as appropriate shoes such as trainers and a sun hat. A bottle of water and some snacks are also a good idea.

Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 48 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 48-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
