The show first debuted at Halloween Horror Nights in 1992, and quickly became one of the most irreverent and fun shows at the park, imitating everyone from Britney Spears to Barack Obama. The performance, which involves the central characters from the 1989 film ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter has seen its way through 26 years of the event.
“The ‘Farewell Tour’ gives us the perfect opportunity to give Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan a proper sendoff,” said Jason Horne, the show’s writer, on the official Universal blog. Expect below-the-belt jokes, risqué dancers, blasting music and a dash of the terrible as this show goes out with a bang!
Previous targets of the writer’s sharp tongue have included Kim Kardashian, Kim Jong-Un and Ben Affleck – so you can be sure that the show will take a few surprising twists and turns along the way and be completely unpredictable!
If you’re visiting Universal around the time of Halloween Horror Nights this year (September 15th to November 4th) you should definitely catch this show - it’s the last opportunity you’ll get!
