Classic grisly monsters such as Dracula, The Wolf Man and Frankenstein’s Monster will feature in this brand-new haunted house which will take guests through a number of darkened realms from horror stories gone by.
Entering Dracula’s Castle, guests will leave screaming in terror into the grim forest behind the castle, which bleeds into the story of Dr Frankenstein’s Laboratory. If you survive that, you’ll be beaten back by the curse of the mummy, an ancient Egyptian curse which kills those who are unlucky enough to disturb the Evil Mummy. Finally, the only escape route will be via the Black Lagoon, where a mysterious creature is lurking, ready to pounce.
Over at Universal Studios Hollywood, this haunted house is making a triumphant return for a second year running. However, there will be some changes this year as it returns with a new horrifying maze, “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man”, delving deeper into the stories behind some of Universal’s most iconic monsters.
Although loosely based on the 1943 horror movie of the same name, this new house has been modernised for 21st-century guests, who follow in the footsteps of Frankenstein’s monster and into a deadly duel between these iconic horror characters. The majority of the story itself is set in a creepy gypsy camp, where angry villagers have driven the two monsters in an attempt to kill them once and for all. Who will escape alive?
