When is the Seven Seas Food Festival 2027?
The Seven Seas Food Festival 2027 takes place on select dates from February to May 2027, according to SeaWorld Orlando's official 2027 events calendar. The exact opening and closing dates will be announced closer to the season.
For comparison, the 2026 festival ran from 30 January to 17 May, every Thursday through Sunday. If 2027 follows a similar pattern, you can expect the festival to run across long weekends throughout the spring, so we'd recommend checking SeaWorld's park calendar for your travel dates once the 2027 schedule is published.

|---|---|
| February | Festival season begins, with Mardi Gras on 9 February |
| March | St. Patrick's Day on 17 March |

Seven Seas marketplace opening times
In 2026, the festival marketplaces opened at these times:
| Day | 2026 marketplace hours |
|---|---|
| Thursday | 2pm to 7pm |
| Friday | 3pm to 8pm |
| Saturday | 12pm to 8pm |
| Sunday | 12pm to 8pm |
Weekends give you the longest festival hours, and they're also when the headline concerts take place. We'll update this table with the 2027 times as soon as they're released.
Is the Seven Seas Food Festival included with admission?
Yes, the Seven Seas Food Festival is included with your SeaWorld Orlando park ticket, so there's no separate festival ticket to buy. You'll pay for food and drinks as you go, or with a sampler lanyard, and the live concerts at Bayside Stadium are included too.
That means a festival day at SeaWorld is a full theme park day, with rides, animal experiences and shows alongside your tasting adventure.
The Seven Seas Food Festival 2027 celebrations
SeaWorld Orlando has confirmed four special celebrations as part of the 2027 Seven Seas Food Festival, each with its own themed food, drinks and entertainment. These are some of the most exciting dates of the season to plan your visit around.
Mardi Gras - 9 February 2027
Let the good times roll! Mardi Gras brings limited-time food, cocktails, entertainment and live music to the festival, all in true New Orleans style. It's a fun, colourful way to kick off the Seven Seas season.
St. Patrick's Day - 17 March 2027
St. Patrick's Day brings a taste of Ireland to SeaWorld Orlando. In 2026, the Irish Market Plaza was at the heart of the celebrations, with Irish food, music and performers. SeaWorld will share the 2027 details, including entertainment and food offerings, closer to the date.
Cinco de Mayo - 5 May 2027
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with authentic music, Mexican cuisine and festive entertainment. It's a brilliant date for foodies, especially if tacos and margaritas are high on your list!
Viva La Música - May 2027
Viva La Música is a family-friendly Latin celebration, with lively music, fiery flavours and cultural entertainment. In 2026, it featured Latin concerts alongside Caribbean and Mexican dishes such as chicken pinchos, ropa vieja, al pastor and carne asada.
In previous years, SeaWorld has spread its themed celebrations across the festival days around each date, so you may be able to enjoy the fun across a whole weekend.
What food and drink can you expect at Seven Seas?
The festival marketplaces are the star of the show, serving international dishes, desserts, cocktails, wines and craft beers in tasting-sized portions. In 2026, SeaWorld offered more than 200 food and drink options across 29 festival huts, inspired by cuisines from around the world.
The 2026 menus included flavours from:
- Asia and the Pacific
- Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean
- Europe, including Italian, German and Irish dishes
- Polynesia
- the North Atlantic and North America
There's something for every taste, with spicy and aromatic dishes, comforting classics and indulgent sweet treats. Vegetarian and vegan options are available at kiosks across the park too.
Rotating menus
In 2026, SeaWorld introduced rotating menus for the first time, with fresh, limited-time dishes added throughout the festival. A February visit and a May visit could offer quite different dishes, which makes Seven Seas a fun one to return to during a longer Orlando stay.
Some of the 2026 rotating highlights included Huli-Huli Chicken, Al Pastor Tacos, Shrimp Gumbo, Chowder Fries, Teriyaki Chicken Sliders and Smoked Brisket Mac and Cheese. The 2027 menus haven't been revealed yet, so keep an eye on this page for the new line-up.
Cocktails, wine and craft beer
Alongside the food, you'll find wines, local and international craft beers and festival cocktails. Favourites in 2026 included the Frozen Polynesian Summer (pineapple rum, coconut rum and mango) and the South Sea Swizzle (gin, turmeric syrup, pineapple and lime).
Seven Seas Food Festival sampler lanyards
A food and beverage sampler lanyard is one of the most popular ways to enjoy the Seven Seas Food Festival. In 2026, guests could choose a 10-sample or 15-sample lanyard, and each sample could be used on any eligible dish or drink across the festival marketplaces.
SeaWorld described the 15-sample lanyard as the best value in 2026, saving more than 50% compared with buying the same items individually.
Our top tip: A lanyard works brilliantly if you're planning to eat your way around several marketplaces. If you'd like to try just a few dishes, buying individually gives you more flexibility.
Seven Seas Food Festival concerts
Live music is a big part of what makes the Seven Seas Food Festival so special. In 2026, SeaWorld hosted more than 30 concerts at the open-air Bayside Stadium, with headline shows every Saturday and extra performances on select Fridays and Sundays.
The 2026 line-up spanned pop, hip-hop, country, rock, Christian and Latin music, with performances from artists including Flo Rida, The Beach Boys, Boyz II Men, Trace Adkins, Smash Mouth and The Fray.
The 2027 concert line-up is still to be announced, and we'll add the full schedule here as soon as SeaWorld reveals it.
Reserved concert seating
Concerts are included with your park admission, with general stadium seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. For a guaranteed spot, SeaWorld offers reserved seating upgrades, which in 2026 came in three tiers:
- Front Row Reserved Seating - fully accessible
- Up Close Reserved Seating - fully accessible
- Reserved Seating - in the stadium seating, reached by stairs
Premium Seven Seas experiences
Foodies looking for something extra special can add a premium experience to their festival day. In 2026, SeaWorld offered:
- Seven Seas Food Festival VIP tour - including a 5-sample lanyard, reserved seating for that evening's concert and priority access to SeaWorld's rides.
- Seas the Flavor - a five-course food and wine pairing with chef-led storytelling and live music.
These experiences are booked separately with SeaWorld. Details for 2027 are still to come, so we'll update this section once they're announced.
More to enjoy at SeaWorld during the festival
The Seven Seas Food Festival is part of a full day at SeaWorld Orlando, so you can mix your tasting adventure with world-class coasters and incredible animal encounters. Some of our favourites include:
- Mako - Orlando's tallest, fastest and longest coaster
- Pipeline: The Surf Coaster - a stand-up surf-style ride
- Manta - a flying coaster that soars over the water
- Ice Breaker - a launch coaster with a near-vertical spike
- Penguin Trek - a family coaster finishing at the Antarctica penguin habitat
- Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice - the latest adventure at the park
Our top tip: Ride the big coasters in the morning, then head to the marketplaces when they open in the afternoon. Finish with an evening concert at Bayside Stadium for the perfect festival day.
When is the best time to visit the Seven Seas Food Festival?
The best time to visit depends on what you'd like to experience most. Here's how the 2027 season shapes up:
| Visit in... | Why it's great |
|---|---|
| February | Mardi Gras flavours and the excitement of a brand-new festival season |
| March | St. Patrick's Day celebrations and spring sunshine |
| April | The festival in full swing, with weekend concerts |
| May | Cinco de Mayo, Viva La Música and the final weeks of the festival |
Saturdays give you the longest marketplace hours and the headline concerts, which makes them a brilliant choice for a full festival day. If your Orlando holiday covers several weeks, the rotating menus give you a great reason to visit more than once!

- Plan around a concert. Check the line-up and pick a day with an artist you love.
