Our guide to Glacier Exploration

Join us on a fun, safe, and easy-to-moderate glacier hiking tour at the breathtaking Sólheimajökull glacier. Explore a wonderland of ice sculptures, water cauldrons, ridges, and deep crevasses. As you take in the glacier's spectacular surroundings, you'll learn about glacier behaviour and its impact on nature. No technical skills are needed; our experienced glacier guide will teach you how to use the basic glacier equipment we provide, such as crampons and an ice axe.

The Sólheimajökull glacier outlet extends from the magnificent Mýrdalsjökull glacier to the sandy plains of Iceland's south coast. The area is marked by rugged, majestic rock formations sculpted by the glacier over time.
