  • Whilst we had a great time,the removal of rip ride rocket means it's only the escape from Gringotts which is the big attraction. There's lots of good fun rides (The Mummy, Jimmy Fallon, Minions) and of course the classic ET, but overall diagonally aside, it feels lacking a bit. It was good fun, but until the new coaster is open, it isn't a destination in itself more of "whilst we are here".

  • First visit and we'd certainly go again. Great fun, and a good break from the theme parks. The lazy river isn't that lazy (you get the hint when you put on the life vest). Issues are there's a lack of shade unless you fork out for premium, and food options for just a snack (who wants big meals at a water park) are not great.

  • Our 2nd visit to Universal. Islands of adventure is great. The rides are amazing, and Hogsmead is just magical. It's not 5* this time due to the amount of work going on right now. Hogwarts was covered over, part of jurassic world wasn't open. I know what has to go on, but it's still frustrating.

  • A decent park with a good mix of rides for all ages. We had a terrible time trying to get an accessible pass for our granddaughter who has mobility issues. Universal really need to vastly improve the process surrounding this.

  • Not all of our party visited Volcano Bay. The ones who did thought it was fine. We had hoped to hire a cabana for the day but this turned out to be prohibitively expensive and only comes in two flavours - for up to six people, or up to fourteen. There was seven of us, with two in the party being elderly, hence why we had wanted a cabana, so only five of us went to that park and made do without a cabana
