Last year, the Christmas season became twice as magical at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida with the arrival of a brand-new nighttime event; Disney Jollywood Nights. And this year the glamour continues as the event returns for a second time, and tickets are NOW ON SALE!
This festive party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a celebration filled with merriment, music and spirited good times, running on select nights from November 9th through to December 21st. But what should you expect when you buy a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights? We’re here to answer all your questions.
Is Disney Jollywood Nights a separately-ticketed event?
Yes, Disney Jollywood Nights is not included in your regular park admission and requires a separate ticket. Included in the event ticket will be entry to Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 6pm to 12:30am (with the event officially starting at 7:30pm), exclusive entertainment and Character meets, access to some of the park’s most popular rides, and digital downloads of all your photos taken by PhotoPass photographers around the park.
What dates will Disney Jollywood Nights be taking place?
Disney Jollywood Nights 2024 will run on the following dates:
- November: 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30
- December: 2, 7, 11, 14, 18 and 21
Is Disney Jollywood Nights replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Don’t worry! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party still takes place at Magic Kingdom Park (and tickets are also now on sale), in addition to Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! While these nighttime events both take place during the Christmas season, they will be taking place on different dates, making it easy for you to experience both in one holiday!
What entertainment is at Disney Jollywood Nights?
Guests attending Disney Jollywood Nights can enjoy seasonal entertainment throughout the night, with a musical variety show hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy at Theater of the Stars, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! showing once again on the Chinese Theater, and a The Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along experience at Hyperion Theater featuring Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie.
What characters can you meet at Disney Jollywood Nights?
New for 2024, guests attending Disney Jollywood Nights can meet Baloo and King Louie in their Talespin outfits, Jose Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros, and Bo Peep or Lotso from the Toy Story movies. There'll also be many returning characters from last year, including Max Goof as Powerline, Phineas and Ferb, Rescue Rangers Chip 'n' Dale, and of course Mickey, Minnie and all their pals.
What attractions will be open during Disney Jollywood Nights?
In addition to the exclusive festive offerings, guests will also have the opportunity to experience some of their favourite attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with lower wait times. These include Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog Dash,The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Can you dress up for Disney Jollywood Nights?
Unlike at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests can’t wear full costumes at Disney Jollywood Nights. They are, however, encouraged to don their holiday best and get all glammed up to match the Hollywood vibes and glimmering decor throughout the park.
