The Christmas season has just become twice as magical at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, as tickets for a brand-new nighttime event, Disney Jollywood Nights, are NOW ON SALE!
This festive party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be a celebration filled with merriment, music and spirited good times, running on select nights from November 11th through to December 20th. But what should you expect when you buy a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights? We’re here to answer all your questions.
Is Disney Jollywood Nights a separately-ticketed event?
Yes, Disney Jollywood Nights is not included in your regular park admission and requires a separate ticket. Included in the event ticket will be entry to Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 7pm to 12:30am (with the event officially starting at 8:30pm), exclusive entertainment and Character meets, access to some of the park’s most popular rides, and digital downloads of all your photos taken by PhotoPass photographers around the park.
What dates will Disney Jollywood Nights be taking place?
Disney Jollywood Nights 2023 will run on the following dates:
- November: 11, 18, 20, 27, 29
- December: 4, 6, 16, 18, 20
Will you need a Park Pass Reservation in addition to your Disney Jollywood Nights ticket?
No, a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights will guarantee you entry into Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the specific event hours without needing a Park Pass Reservation. If you want to spend time in the park before the event begins though, you will need to have a reservation linked to your valid Disney Magic Ticket.
Is Disney Jollywood Nights replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Don’t worry! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will still be taking place at Magic Kingdom Park, in addition to Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! While these nighttime events both take place during the Christmas season, they will be taking place on different dates, making it easy for you to experience both in one holiday!
What entertainment will be at Disney Jollywood Nights?
Guests attending Disney Jollywood Nights will enjoy both new and returning entertainment, with a musical variety show hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy coming to Theater of the Stars, and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! showing once again on the Chinese Theater. There will also be a sing-along experience at Hyperion Theater, with more details to be announced soon!
What characters can you meet at Disney Jollywood Nights?
Guests will have the chance to meet Mickey, Minnie and their pals in Animation Courtyard, posing with some holiday props on a hot set. Elsewhere, Powerline Max, Phineas and Ferb, and Edna Mode will all be getting in the holiday spirit, ready to strike a pose for the camera.
What attractions will be open during Disney Jollywood Nights?
In addition to the exclusive festive offerings, guests will also have the opportunity to experience some of their favourite attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with lower wait times. These include Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog Dash and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. Plus there will be a virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, giving you more time to enjoy all the party has to offer.
Can you dress up for Disney Jollywood Nights?
Unlike at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests can’t wear full costumes at Disney Jollywood Nights. They are, however, encouraged to don their holiday best and get all glammed up to match the Hollywood vibes and glimmering decor throughout the park.
