It’s a tropical paradise just a short distance away from everything Universal Orlando Resort has to offer.
Our guide to Universal's Volcano Bay
Water is Life. Life is Joy. That’s the philosophy celebrated at Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park. It’s the carefree attitude the fabled Waturi islanders have embraced on their Pacific isle for centuries. Now you can live the Waturi way at this tropical getaway where thrills and relaxation flow in perfect harmony.
With over 30 unique experiences and 19 different attractions, it’s a theme park like no other and it's just steps away from the other theme parks, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida, themed on-site hotels and the dining, shopping and entertainment of Universal CityWalk.
TapuTapu Puts The Wonders Of Volcano Bay
Right At Your Wrist. Here, every guest is granted the powers of the TapuTapu wearable, which changes how you wait because of the park’s Virtual Line. With just a wave of your wrist you can hold your place in the ride lines and reveal wondrous surprises throughout the park. Which means more time to careen down slides, brave whitewater torrents, drift down a winding river, or relax in your own waterside cabana.
The Volcano
At the heart of the island stands Krakatau, the mighty Fire and Water Volcano. Towering 200 feet above the tropical landscape, Krakatau streams waterfalls during the day and fiery lava effects at night. Inside the cavernous volcano, the Waturi people dare you to brave a variety of heart-pounding water slides.
River Village
The second of three villages in Universal’s Volcano Bay, River Village has fun for people of all ages, including the very youngest Waturi.
Rainforest Village
The third village you’ll discover in Universal’s Volcano Bay, Rainforest Village stretches along the shores of an action-packed river and features the perfect mix of relaxation and exhilaration.
Wave Village
Wave Village is the first of three villages guests encounter at Volcano Bay. This peaceful escape overlooks the sparkling waters of Waturi Beach at the base of the volcano.

Loads to do. Hire a cabana, well worth doing as you get you own locker and can order food and drink to be brought to you.
