How to get from Disneyland® Paris to central Paris
Getting into Paris from Disneyland® Paris is super simple. The Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station is just a two-minute walk from Disneyland® Park, Disney Adventure World, and Disney Village®. There’s also a free shuttle bus service to the station from some of the Disney® Hotels.
From the station, take the RER train to Châtelet station in Paris, which takes around 40 minutes. From here, you can take the metro (Paris’ underground train) or explore on foot. The Louvre Museum is just a seven-minute walk from here.

1. Disney Village®
Along with the two theme parks – Disneyland® Park and Disney Adventure World – and the eight hotels, Disney Village® makes up part of Disneyland® Paris. But just how far is Disney Village® from Disneyland® Paris?
The answer is: not far at all! Disney Village® is just outside the gates to Disneyland® Park and Disney Adventure World. It should take less than 10 minutes to walk there from the parks.
At Disney Village®, you’ll find entertainment, restaurants, and shops. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, and it’s a great place to spend the evening. You can even pop out to grab some food or a coffee, then get back to the parks when you’re ready.
2. Sea Life Paris Aquarium
The Sea Life Paris Aquarium is located in the Val d’Europe shopping centre and offers a great way to spend a couple of hours with the family. You’ll learn more about their underwater residents, how they’re cared for, and their natural habitat and you can even have a go at feeding the turtles.
How to get to Sea Life Paris Aquarium from Disneyland® Paris: Take the RER train from the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station to Val D’Europe. It takes less than 10 minutes to get there.
3. Val d’Europe
If you fancy a bit of retail therapy, there’s no shortage of places to shop near Disneyland® Paris. Not only have you got the merchandise and souvenir shops in the parks and in Disney Village®, and the high-end boutiques of Paris, but there’s also a shopping centre close by.
Val d’Europe has stores and restaurants galore, perfect for shopping til you drop! There’s also the Vallée Village, an outlet village where brands are available at reduced prices.
How to get to Val d’Europe from Disneyland® Paris: You can do the same train journey as above, or it’s a 15-minute walk if you’d like to stretch your legs.
4. Eiffel Tower
Probably the most iconic sight in Paris, the Eiffel Tower stands 1,083 feet (330 metres) over the city and is its tallest structure. Head straight to the top, where you can enjoy beautiful views over Paris and spot some of its most famous landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Sacré Coeur, and the Arc de Triomphe.
At night, the Eiffel Tower is even more striking. The structure is illuminated with gold lighting and emits a beacon from its top. For the first five minutes of every hour, the lights sparkle, making for a magical display.

How to get to the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland® Paris: From Châtelet station in central Paris, you’ll need to exit the station and then walk to Saint-Michel Notre-Dame where you can jump on a train to Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel. Alternatively, you could catch a bus or take an hour’s stroll.
5. The Louvre Museum
The Louvre Museum is the largest and most famous museum in the world. It is home to a vast collection of artworks from different cultures and time periods. You’ll recognise some of the greatest artistic creations of our time, including the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa. Seeing them in the flesh is an unmissable experience.
You might be surprised to discover that the Mona Lisa is only 77 x 53cm (30 x 21 inches), but it is one of the most valuable paintings of all time. 6. Arc de Triomphe
Another one of Paris’ most recognisable sights is the Arc de Triomphe. Started in 1806, it took 30 years to build and is a symbol of the military history of France. You can go to the observation deck at the top, which is 164 feet (50 metres) high, where you’ll get spectacular views over La Dèfense and the Champs-Elysées.
Underneath, there’s the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, commemorating the French soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War.
How to get to the Arc de Triomphe from Disneyland® Paris: From Châtelet station, jump on the metro to Charles de Gaulle – Ètoile station. From here, it’s around a five-minute walk.
7. Provins
Provins is a fortified medieval town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Step back in time and see this uniquely preserved city, which has remained largely unchanged since the 17th century. In the 900s, it was the third most important city in the kingdom of France, after Paris and Rouen.
Now, you’ll find 82-foot (25-metre) high ramparts and a moat, half-timbered houses, and France’s oldest restaurant. They also hold regular medieval festivals here, with street entertainers, crafts, games, music, and jousting. Medieval costume optional but encouraged!
How to get to Provins from Disneyland® Paris: There’s a direct bus service from the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, which takes around an hour and ten minutes. Buses depart regularly. If you have a car with you at Disneyland® Paris, it’s around an hour’s drive to Provins.
8. Vincennes
A trip to France wouldn’t be a trip to France without visiting at least one chateau! The Château de Vincennes was built in the 14th century and was lived in by French kings up until the 16th century. The medieval fortress has since taken on many different guises, including serving as a prison and a military base. Inside, there’s a museum where you can learn more.
How to get to Vincennes from Disneyland® Paris: Take the RER train direct from the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, which takes just over half an hour.
