In light of the 300th anniversary of the passing of Sir Christopher Wren, a limited-time exhibition is currently taking place at St. Paul's Cathedral. Sir Christopher Wren was the mastermind behind the magnificent landmark. Join us at St. Paul’s this year to delve into his life and work, unravelling the secrets behind this architectural marvel.

The special exhibition, Sir Christopher Wren: The Quest for Knowledge, hosted at St. Paul’s Cathedral, offers a deep dive into Wren's life and achievements through archival materials and personal artifacts. Explore Wren's inquisitive mind, showcasing his contributions to science and architecture, culminating in his magnum opus, St. Paul’s Cathedral.

This captivating exhibition is included with all standard tickets.

Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm (last admission 4 pm)
Wednesday: 10.00 am to 4:30 pm (last admission 4.00 pm)
Please note: access to the Dome Galleries is from 9:30 am (10.00 am on Wednesdays) to 4:15 pm.

Within the Dome, all three Galleries (Whispering, Stone, and Golden Galleries) are currently open. Entry to the Golden Gallery is subject to availability due to capacity management at busy times, and there may be time restrictions in place. ~

The restaurant is closed. The café is open in the Crypt Monday – Saturday.

Special services and events may mean that all or part of the Cathedral is closed either in advance or on short notice.

  • Special services and events may mean that all or part of the Cathedral are closed with short notice or no notice.
  • The Whispering Gallery is once again open for visitors.
  • Visitors are allowed to take photographs in designated areas. Filming, the use of flash, additional lighting, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are not permitted.
  • Children under six (6) years of age are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket. (Children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the galleries)
  • The restaurant remains closed. The coffee cart café is open in the Crypt Monday-Saturday.
  • You will receive a voucher for this experience. Please read it thoroughly.
  • Access to the Golden Gallery may be limited
  • Nearest Train Station: Blackfriars, Cannon Street or London Bridge
  • Nearest Underground: Blackfriars
  • Family tickets are available allowing entry for 2 adults and 2 children of 6-16 years of age. If you require a family ticket you need only select one (1) ticket here.
  • Please note that the Cathedral is not open for sightseeing on Sundays.
  • Cancellation Policy: Your tickets can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before the tour date. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 72 hours.
