It first opened in 2002 and was later extended with a 14,000m² expansion housing King Khajuna, its tallest and most talked-about slide.
Unlike PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land, Caribe Aquatic Park only runs during the warmer months, so it’s worth checking the 2026 season dates before building it into an itinerary. There are 20+ attractions across the park, ranging from adrenaline-heavy speed slides to gentle pools designed for babies and toddlers.

PortAventura World's Caribe Aquatic Park has unveiled Coral Bay, a brand-new family area inspired by a legendary lost pirate bay reclaimed from the sea. Here's what's waiting for you:
- Cyclone - Europe's only family water coaster, sending your raft racing through the reef with high-speed jets, weightless twists and a splashdown finale.
- The Crab - Climb this water slide tower and pick your escape route through twisting slides, banked turns and dark tunnels, racing friends and family to the splash pool below.
- Bahía Pirata - The world's only water obstacle course, challenging you to dodge ancient ruins and leap across floating platforms in the sunken pirate bay.
- Splash Port - A colourful, safe splash zone with gentle water jets and interactive play, perfect for families with babies and young children (ages 0-8).

Bahama Beach

Barracudas

Grab a two-person raft and race through a series of bends and drops with Barracudas. It’s a sociable slide built for pairs, with enough twists to keep both riders guessing what’s around the next corner!
Cayo Cookie

- Height Requirement - None; suitable for young children with adult supervision
Random jets of water fire without warning at Cayo Cookie, giving the little ones a playful splash zone themed around Cookie Monster. It’s a great option for the kids who aren’t quite ready for the bigger slides yet.

King Khajuna is Caribe Aquatic Park's headline attraction and one of Europe's tallest free-fall slides, standing 31 metres high with a 55-degree drop. Riders reach speeds of up to 85 km/h before hitting the braking pool, and the tower is visible from almost anywhere in the park.
Fun fact: King Khajuna's tower is tall enough to be seen from PortAventura Park next door, making it one of the few water slides anywhere that doubles as a resort-wide landmark.
La Laguna de Woody

Each pass comes with its own terms and conditions, so it’s worth a quick read before you buy. PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land each have their own separate Express Pass ranges, covered in their dedicated guides. On quieter days, particularly outside peak summer weeks, queues tend to be short enough that an Express Pass isn’t essential.

As with PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land, car parking starts from €16, with a preferred zone closer to the entrance from €21. Caravans and trucks also start from €16, and motorbike parking starts from €6. PortAventura World hotel guests can park free of charge at their hotels.

- By car: PortAventura World has direct access from the A-7 motorway, with driving from central Barcelona taking around 1 hour 15 minutes.
- By train: PortAventura World has its own station on the R-17 and RT2 Rodalies de Catalunya lines. From further afield, AVE and long-distance services call at Camp de Tarragona, with onward bus, taxi and car hire links to the resort.
- By air: PortAventura World sits around an hour from Barcelona-El Prat Airport and just 15 minutes from Reus Airport, with bus, taxi and car hire options available from both.
- By bus: Coach services run to PortAventura World from Barcelona and along the Costa Daurada and Costa Brava.
What to Bring to Caribe Aquatic Park

Buy Caribe Aquatic Park Tickets
Caribe Aquatic Park can be booked as a standalone ticket, or combined with PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land on a multi-park ticket.
Important: Caribe Aquatic Park is only open from 23rd May to 20th September 2026, so tickets can only be redeemed during that window regardless of which ticket type is booked. On multi-day combo tickets, Caribe Aquatic Park can typically only be visited on one day of the trip, and PortAventura Park and Caribe Aquatic Park visits must be on separate days.
Children aged 0-3 enter Caribe Aquatic Park free of charge and don’t require a ticket.
