Your journey begins outside the iconic Colosseum, where your guide will introduce you to the history of this vast amphitheatre that once hosted brutal contests between gladiators and wild beasts. Skip the long lines and head straight inside through the special Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor—an area usually closed to the general public. Here, your guide will bring the past to life with vivid stories of the dramatic events staged for the entertainment of ancient Rome.
Continue exploring the Colosseum for a full hour, from the ground level up to the second tier, where you’ll enjoy views overlooking the Roman Forum. Then make your way to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, the political and social heart of ancient Rome. Wander among temples, markets, and ancient roads as your guide shares fascinating tales of war, politics, betrayal, and the powerful figures who shaped the Roman Empire.

- Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time for check-in. Out of courtesy to other guests, we’re unable to wait for latecomers. No refunds can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows.
- The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted.
- All guests (including children) must bring ID on the day of their tour.
- All guests must pass through security. No weapons or large items will be permitted.
- Only small backpacks and regular-sized handbags are allowed inside; guests with larger bags will be denied entrance. No storage room/lockers available.
- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- The Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill may close occasionally. We'll notify you of any changes in advance if possible. For last-minute closures, updates will be given at the start of the tour.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are not compulsory but always appreciated.
