Disneyland® Paris Access Cards
You can apply for an Access Card upon arrival in the parks by going to one of the dedicated desks at the entrance. You can also get one from City Hall, Studio Services, or the reception desk at your Disney® Hotel.
A Cast Member will help you to fill out a questionnaire and take your photo for the card. The questionnaire helps to ensure that Disneyland® Paris has everything they need in place to evacuate you safely in an emergency.
You can also request an Access Card online on the Disneyland® Paris website before you travel. We recommend doing so to save you time when you get there.
There are two types of Access Card available:
- Priority Card
- Facility Card
Priority Card
Guests who are officially registered as disabled can get a Priority Card which gives you priority access to attractions, shows, Disney Character meet and greets, restaurants, and tills in shops. The pass covers the guest with disabilities and their party up to a maximum of four people for attractions and two people for shows and parades.
Facility Card
The Facility Card is for guests with a recognised long-term illness. It gives you priority access to attractions only for the guest and their party, up to a maximum of four people.
Services for neurodivergent guests at Disneyland® Paris
Disneyland® Paris provides various support services to help guests with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodivergent guests:
- Access Cards

There are plenty of toilets around the parks, and while there are no specific quiet areas, there are benches and places to sit and have a rest throughout.

Mobility and accessibility at Disneyland® Paris
If you’re visiting Disneyland® Paris with someone who has disabilities which affect their mobility, here are some of the services available to help you:
Designated parking spaces for guests with disabilities and additional needs
There are a limited number of designated parking spaces available for guests with disabilities and additional needs. There are also spaces in the motor home car park. To park here, just show your Blue Badge or European disabled parking badge when you arrive at the car park payment booth.
Accessible parking spaces throughout Disneyland® Paris are marked with the wheelchair symbol.
Wheelchair hire at Disneyland® Paris
You can hire manual wheelchairs and pushchairs from the Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals points in Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park. These can’t be pre-booked and are subject to availability. There’s a daily hire charge and a refundable deposit.
Accessibility at restaurants
All of the table service restaurants at Disneyland® Paris are wheelchair accessible. Some of the queuing areas at the counter service and buffet service restaurants aren’t suitable for wheelchairs, but any available Cast Member will be able to help.
Top tip: If there’s a restaurant you’d like to visit, then we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. You can book dining at Disneyland® Paris up to two months before your visit or, if you’re staying at a Disney Hotel, as soon as your booking is confirmed.
Service animals at Disneyland® Paris
Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome throughout Disneyland® Paris. However, they may not be permitted on some attractions or rides. Cast Members aren’t able to look after your service animal, so they must be left with a member of your party if you wish to ride without them.
Be sure to bring with you:
- Lead or harness
- Their travel documents
- Proof of vaccinations
- Proof that the animal is an assistance animal
- Poop bags for cleaning up after your animal
- Food and bowls
If you’ve brought your assistance animal on holiday but you don’t want to bring it with you to the Disney Parks, you can take it to the Animal Care Centre, where it will be looked after for the day, free of charge.
Epilepsy and photosensitivity
Accessibility maps are available, which denote where attractions may have features that can affect guests who have epilepsy, including different lighting effects.
6 top tips for visiting Disneyland® Paris with disabilities
Here are some of our top tips for visiting Disneyland® Paris with disabilities. These will help you to make the most of your holiday and ease your worries.
Summary – 5 top tips for visiting Disneyland® Paris with disabilities:
- Buy your park tickets before you travel
- Avoid the busiest times in the parks
- Create a plan for the day
- Think about buying Disney Premier Access
- Get a tag for your pushchair
- Watch rides and attractions beforehand
1.Buy your park tickets before you travel
If you want to minimise your waiting time, then we highly recommend buying your Disneyland® Paris tickets before you travel. All our tickets are gate-ready, so you won’t have to queue to exchange vouchers.
You can also buy your tickets as part of a tickets and hotel package so you’ll have everything in one place and reduce your admin load.
2.Avoid the busiest times in the parks
The busiest times at Disneyland® Paris are during the school holidays and over Christmas. It’s also busier on weekends than it is during the week. If you can, try to visit outside of these times when the theme parks are a little quieter.
During busy times, you may have to wait a while for some rides and attractions, even if you’ve purchased a fast-track pass, and some can find this challenging. Crowds can also be overwhelming.
3.Create a plan for the day
Although we recommend that everyone has some sort of a plan when they visit Disneyland® Paris, we think it’s especially helpful for guests with disabilities or neurodivergent guests. Plan which parks you’re going to visit when and the rides and attractions you want to do to help ease any difficulties around uncertainty.
Planning your route around the parks will help to eliminate any worries about mobility.
4.Think about buying Disney Premier Access
Disney Premier Access is the fast-track option for Disneyland® Paris. It allows you to skip the regular lines and join a shorter queue. This is an additional cost, but one that might be worth it.
There are two options for Disney Premier Access:
- Disney Premier Ultimate: Use once on all eligible attractions with no time slots
- Disney Premier Access One: Use once on a single attraction at an allocated time slot
5.Get a tag for your pushchair or stroller
If you have a child who needs to stay in their pushchair when you’re waiting for rides or attractions for their own well-being and safety, then you can get a tag that says you’re using the pushchair as a wheelchair. This will allow you to take the pushchair into the attraction queues.
6.Watch rides and attractions beforehand
YouTube is an excellent resource if you or someone you’re travelling with struggles when they don’t know what to expect. You can find videos of pretty much every ride at Disneyland® Paris on there, as well as videos of some of the shows and Disney Stars on Parade.
Note: Pushchairs are usually referred to as strollers at Disneyland® Paris.
Now you’ve got everything you need to prepare for your visit to Disneyland® Paris, it’s time to start planning. Call our advisors on 02039044991 to get started.
