    We love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for its larger-than-life storybook landscapes that bring some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved films to life – think giant Simba statues, underwater scenes from The Little Mermaid, and a full-sized Radiator Springs straight out of Cars!     Every corner of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is bursting with creative touches from classic Walt Disney and Disney•Pixar animated films. With suites designed after Finding Nemo, Cars and The Lion King and standard rooms inspired by The Little Mermaid, you'll feel like you've walked into the middle of a Disney•Pixar story with all your favourite characters! 

    After a day in the parks take the plunge in the largest resort pool in Walt Disney World Resort. Inspired by the Disney•Pixar movie Finding Nemo, the Big Blue Pool features state-of-the-art underwater speakers - a first for Disney Resort hotels. There’s also a pool bar to order snacks and drinks, plus an interactive water play area for little ones with pop-up jets, gushing water and more familiar faces from Finding Nemo. Enjoy relaxing evenings watching a Disney classic with Movies under the Stars or choose from a host of amusements, including a video arcade and the Righteous Reef playground.

    Disney's Art of Animation is connected to the Disney Skyliner, an incredible way to travel around Walt Disney World Resort! Glide across the sky and add an extra dash of pixie dust to your day. This grand, state-of-the-art gondola system conveniently connects the hotel to Disney's Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at EPCOT.

      Just outside your colourful accommodations, you'll find imaginative amenities, 3 sparkling swimming pools and 4 playful courtyards; one for each film; to complete your resort experience. The largest pool is located in the Finding Nemo Courtyard and features a pool bar. Two smaller pools, located in the Cars and The Little Mermaid Courtyards, provide additional relaxation.

      Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours

      If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours – these give you the opportunity to escape the crowds and visit the parks outside of regular opening hours at no extra charge.

    From mid-June 2027 through Oct. 2028, rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will undergo refurbishment. The work will happen in phases, with one themed area being refurbished at a time. Guests may see or hear maintenance work in the area during daytime hours, and alternate paths of travel may be in place until work is complete. 

    Additionally, the Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine refurbishment January 24–30, 2027 and January 24–February 2, 2028. During this time, complimentary bus transportation will be available.

    • Sensational park. The theming for galaxies edge and Toy Story land are fantastic. Lots of really good food to be had including the ronto breakfast wrap. The re-theme for rock and rollercoaster is a great addition to the park next to the classic must ride tower of terror. We ate in the rodeo round up bbq and I have to say the food was really good.

    • We went to Typhoon Lagoon which is their twin park. We love it! We have been plenty of times before when in Florida. It's very clean and we love the music that's always being played. There's plenty of water slides, lazy river and a little area for the little ones too. Would recommend to anyone going to Florida 👍🏻

    • Love love love Magic Kingdom! A place that every child should be able to see at least once in their childhood. It has got a little expensive over the years but well worth the money. Rides for all the family. Parades during the day and evening are lovely and the evening show on the castle is amazing! Very emotional

    • Another family attraction. Not so many rides as the other parks. The avatar ride is a brilliant ride! Kilimanjaro is safari ride through all the animals. You can also have a walk through a different area to see the animals. Only open till 7. There is no evening show here as there are animals
