...and they're all on the New York Explorer Pass!
A visit to New York would not be complete without a visit to these 5 iconic attractions…

The Empire State Building

Think New York and you think The Empire State Building, right? That’s why the Empire State Building should be top of your itinerary for your visit to the Big Apple, either as a standalone visit or by combining it with a Statue of Liberty cruise.

For the ultimate Empire State Building experience, we highly recommend the Sunrise experience, which is a more exclusive way to enjoy the Empire State Building. Limited to only 100 people each day, you’ll be able to watch the sun come up over the city and for miles around – a stunning spectacle that you won’t forget.

The Statue of Liberty

Another New York icon, The Statue of Liberty is a must-do onyour New York holiday. Hop on the Statue of Liberty sightseeing cruise  if you don’t have lots of time so you can snap a few pictures or, if you’re eager to see the statue up close you can arrange a tour that stops at both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, where you’ll be able to explore the incredible history of immigration in the USA.

9/11 Memorial

After even a few moments reflection at this poignant memorial, it would be impossible not to reflect on this tragic day which changed the world forever. Although the memorial is a sombre reminder of a day many would like to forget, it is also a place of quiet reflection and a beautiful tribute to the memories of those that died on 9/11. If you are interested in learning more of the stories of that fateful day, we recommend visiting the 9/11 Memorial Museum, which is just next door.

Central Park

Whatever season you’re visiting in, a visit to Central Park is a must – just make sure you’re wrapped up if you’re visiting in the wintery months! In winter, the park becomes a gorgeous winter wonderland covered in ice and snow and home to the Wollman Ice Rink, which makes for a fun family activity. In summer, you can explore on foot or by bike, taking in more than 15 points of interest including a zoo and a boating lake.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)

If you’re looking to visit a museum on your trip to New York, we highly recommend a visit to the Museum of Modern Art. The museum covers the best from painting, film sculpture and performance art from the 1880’s right up to the modern day, set over 6 incredible floors of galleries. Whether you’re a fan of Picasso or Pollock, Matisse or Dalí, there will be something here to take your breath away.

Make sure you purchase your skip the line ticket in advance to avoid the long ticket queues on the day.

All of these top attractions are covered on the New York Explorer Pass.
